Hello Sam!The ball thing in the bento must be “Konnyaku”. Konnyaku is a jelly-like food made from yam routs which can be translated as “konjac”. I can’t wait for your next video it’s so entertaining to watch😊

If you get the chance to go back to Japan, you should visit Kinosaki Onsen. It's an onsen village that's tattoo friendly. I got to go this spring and it's only like a two hour train ride from Kyoto. They have a day pass for like $13 USD and you can go into all 7 public onsen. 10/10 recommend if you get back to Japan!
