An interesting approach. I will try it on a Split Second playfield I have stripped. Up to now, I have used the 555 wired socket holder and the centering attachment from Pinball Life. I was wondering if a dab of hot glue might be good to keep the LED positioned straight up?

Crimp the socket to grip the bulb(47) tighter and the add a small dab on solder on the end of the bulb. do this to all my williams 80s pins and never have a flicker problem. Use a Cointaker 5 panel ww 47 led bulb for a evenly lit bright pop bumper.
