Little tip from someone who played this game a lot~ take advantage of the environment, spikes from debris or those cacti will be insta death for the enemies, pools of water have killer fish, and more. The more combo kills you have, the more you can upgrade your weapons, more weapons = more combos, more combos = more points, more points = more ammo from the pods and upgrades for your weapons. Have fun~
Ikr I heard about this and j was like "please let this be that game I played on the 360 years ago when I was a kid I loved the game" and then I watched wolfs video and the memories instantly came back to me and I'm sat here watching this lime "Holy fucking shit this is insane" I am so fucking excited to play this game and relive my childhood memories and just experiance it in vr, it's gonna bring back ao much fucking nostalgia
Yeah to probably in the future update but for now we don't want to speak about him and so hopefully it comes back with a new game or something in the near future
@@eradic yeah im seeing that poor visuals is the general sentiment so far. adleast for the standalone versions. wonder if the textures are better on the steam version. and i really dont get why they didnt just port the OG xbox textures. those look better, and were likely a lighter file size.
this is like if a wolf in vr was a game, and had a total polar opposite, especially the duke nukem version lol, used to absolutely love this game though, played through the golden edition so many freakin times man, i miss those days...
😂😂😂 I just noticed that on the quest 3 the textures are more like smudges(I know it's a stand alone and may not be able to handle the original bulletstorm graphics I'm just being mean). But also that the momentum with dead bodies are gone when you bullet kick them, like if they added an animation for dying and it stops them from flying like a bird, there was momentum before,😢 I literally was playing this yesterday because I still have a physical copy for xbox 360.
Holy I'd never think that anyone would remember bullet storm again excuse my language but holy shit this could revive bulletstorm the best console game that's ever existed
If the original is anything like this I can see why it got a cult following. Just has a bit more style and flavour to the world than every other dystopian cover based shooter.
Everything tells saying that the game looks bad but thats for a reason you guys KNOW that the quest 2 and 3 cant run very high quality games but im sure if any updates comes out maybe it would look better
Have they added much to it or is it basically a straight port to VR? I loved the original but I’m not sure it’s worth buying and playing the same game all over again.
Just finished it. I’m incredibly mixed on this game. They translated the skill shot system into vr perfectly, then they cut about 15% of the levels and even added some censorship to the dialogue. The sniper rifle is useless now. The game forces you to use it twice, then you just don’t need it because the levels where it would be useful were cut. The t-Rex level was cut. Some of the best jokes were cut.
I bet the reason is because the game is already big enough already and I bet these were cut for resource reasons because even know the quest 2 and 3 are good vr headsets they are not very powerful
This game was badass when it came out. So many unconventional way to kill enemies. I expect better, cooler graphic when it gets the VR treatment. This is not exactly what I expect, particularly its dated graphic.
The main character isn't very likeable. I think this is a huge factor in me not enjoying it too much. But I think the setting is interesting enough and the port seems decent.
I loved playing this game when i was younger, I was a sadistic little devil child, or rather "am", I still love watching the world burn at my finger tips, In video games... **nervous cough** obviously.
There's a game that this guy made a video on a couple years ago that he sadly didn't finish playing and I got really upset because of it not because he stopped playing but because I couldn't find another person good enough that was playing The Game too the rest of the people I could Find which is one of those silent RU-vid's That just let the game go on and don't talk which is boring
For people who care which I doubt is anybody the game was called. The Tale of Onogoro. There was probably a reason of why he didn't play the game and only made one episode but I only know him through RU-vid and no other website or app
I dont know about flying under the radar. It was just sort of fun but pretty uneventful. Its just 8 hours of the same fight over and over again. It was somewhat innovative, but more of a long tech demo than a game.
trying to translate every element of a game into VR, reworking the guns for motion controls, adding swords that let you cut enemies up and then giving you FLAT cutscenes is so so bad. Seeing that made this an instant NO for me just like the RE4 port. so sad because I was looking forward to this game.
There are WAY too many cutscenes. Every time you get goin it abruptly pauses for some more pointless story telling. People wanna fire their guns, not watch 3rd rate cut scenes.
erm... i am a bit sad that you let the Quest render this game. The old PC version looks like Next Gen in comparison. Especially the character models. I am a big fan of you. but i will skip this one in search of PC-VR gameplay :)
This aint an airport no need to announce your departure, who cares if you don't like what he's playing on, I think it's pretty damn smart that he's playing it on the quest seeing as it's the most owned vr headset massively outselling even steams own headset, it makes sense for him to show what the game looks like for the majority of people who will play it which will be quest 3 users, I have a beastly vr setup ryzen 7 7700x 32gbs ddr5 ram and a 4080, I own both the valve index and the quest 3 and if anything I use my quest 3 more just cos no wires and ease of use, having the best graohics aint important, as long as the graphics are good enough, which they are, and the game has great gameplay and is immersive and fun who cares
@@ashleybarnes9343 This isn't a pissing contest. No need to announce your lack of knowledge with beastly vr hickups. Wireless streaming must be such a mystery. If you don't care then speak for yourself and not for others.
@muffty1337 I know basically everything their is to know about vr mate lmfao. And what's your point with wireless streaming??? You just mentioned it outta nowhere for seemingly no reason, and also completely ignored my point, he's playing it on the quest because it's the biggest vr market their is, the quest is the most used headset by a extreme amount, so it makes sense that he wants to show how the game would look for the majority of users
Weird... they removed the drunk vision, censored a ton of the game and seem to be missing a few segments and kicking enemies no longer sends them flying in the same way. Also graphical problems showing up quite a bit. I loved the original but this one is going to be a pass for me.
Sigh…No multiplayer is why this game eventually died when it first came out. I remember how cool this game was, very innovative and groundbreaking, similar to BLACK, another great fps that came out around that time. Ultimately people want to do cool stuff *with their friends!* They clearly haven’t learned their lesson🤦🏾♂️ Hope they create a multiplayer patch or allow mods.
You should be specific on this matter, Bulletstorm has multiplayer but *does not have Co-Op* which might be what you mean. Not that the multiplayer was that great IMHO, I had more fun with Halo 1 and by the time Bulletstorm came out we were moving onto *halo 3.*
