A Hot tub 2 inch gasket replacement isn't a difficult job, but seeing it done makes it easier to do it yourself.
Shut the main breaker of while working on your spa and drain it down so you don't get flooded when you remove the gaskets.
Remove the screws to get the threaded collars off easier.

Put the collar clamps back in and install the screws fully tight.
Rotate the collar to tighten.
Once all the gaskets are replaced, fill your spa with water.

I changed my gaskets and o-rings and now see that pump 1 was also leaking. I ordered a pump. Any chance of a video on swapping out pump. I would especially like something regarding wiring and tips about common problems.

I have a Escape spa simular connects. Got leak at same area both side of box. Got 2 seals & tightened a lot but, both still leak. Any suggestion?

If the pipes are offset a bit - you can end up with a poor seal and the coupling will not seal properly. To exaggerate a bit think about a shim stick is wider at one end then the other - your connection of pipes might sit like that. In this case hand tighten will get so far and then will not function. You would need to wiggle your pipes into better position as you tighten to get rid of any offset. Given this coupling is by a pump and the way it is connected - the vibrations of the pump can cause some issues. Your coupling might be worn at the threads and the fitting (or possibly a hair line crack).. might be better to simply replace it with a new one - I would replace it rather than play around with a $5 part - just faster, also I could ensure that my pipes were straight together perfect - so It would have a nice fit. So, I got the same bullfrog hot tub from a friend but the pump was bad and he threw it away. Do you recommend any specific brand/size of pump as a replacement?

Have you been happy with your Bullfrog Spas?

They are really nice spas. They aren't without problems but not bullfrogs fault. The pumps leaked water after a few years(I did a video for the repair) and water got into the Balboa electrics. Neither of which were bullfrogs fault. I could probably find faults with every brand spa made. Would I buy another Bullftog spa? The answer would be yes.. They are beautiful and well built. If you can do repairs yourself then any spa you buy will be easy to maintain for years to come. If you can't do repairs and have to hire someone, find someone reputable because I find so many hot tub repair places are a ripoff. Thanks for your question and good luck if your looking to by a spa.
