I have the 2023 Bullit Bluroc Legend in yellow and black - love it. I did have a 125 automatic, and it's a learning curve going from one to the other, but well worth it; this some feels more like a real motorbike. Two months on and I've had no issues (unlike my automatic with constant electrical problems).
i have my bullit bluroc since march of last year, and so far besides oil changes and new tires, and some basic maintenance, i had 0 problems. Also i had a crash around 60kmh or around 35mph and i was surprised that the only thing i broke was the left mirror support. Im happy to say that im more than satisfied with my purchase. Great video !
@@granblogismo You´re welcome, yeah just broke a pad of my safe jacket and was with my shoulder a bit sore for a couple of days, anything else was just fine!
Hello , I'm from Portugal and I would like your help, where can I get the rear support of the motorcycle for the topcase, Congratulations to your channel, thank you.
Ah, what a good idea to celebrate your 40th b/d by getting something nice, like a motorbike 😉 however, it must be said, one tends to make a habit of those things.... I got my HD sidecar rig for my 50th... and somehow this laid the foundation for my collection with bike no 9 turning up kind of unexpectedly this spring.... the XK8, by the way, was the b/d present I gave myself for my 60th. one has to celebrate the big numbers, you see...and yes. a slippery slope 😇 that's a pretty little bike, have fun... looking forward to seeing some more bike vids!
Had my Legend since December 2021 - Only managed a few hundred miles on it, but it's running great. I do keep it garaged, I always dry it after it gets wet, I clean any dirt off immediately after a ride (especially around the exhaust and underbelly) and I try to ensure that the garage is well ventilated to stop moisture build up (so I don't use a cover). I must confess, it's never been near ACF or anything similar (that's not a good thing on my part) and there is no sign of rust or corrosion. Even a cheap chinese bike can be kept rust free if properly maintained. I would change the tyres if I was planning on keeping it once I get my A licence (not decided yet) - as the knobblies are great off-road, but a little hairy when it's wet!
Nice! Yeah I’m enjoying mine, done 500 miles on it now, I don’t think the previous owner of mine was as precious with it as there are a couple of areas that could need some smartening up, that said, I keep it in a garage with a dehumidifier to stop moisture/mould so hopefully won’t get much worse, cheers for the comment!
Got the Bluroc Legend in the same color for about 5 months now. Done about 1500 km on it. I did have some issues already. During wintertime / cold weather starting the bike and immediately taking off was not a good combination. The engine would stop after like 1-2 km. After restarting it, it would be fine. To fix this issue I let the engine warm up for about 3-4 minutes. Also... to bike already broke down on me once. Battery was dead in the evening when I wanted to take of (even after have ridden it +-40km in the morning) After charging the battery it started again. The battery is one of the most common problems with this type of bike. It's a crappy chinese cheap battery. Bought this bike to learn. Never ridden a motorcycle in my life. This is a cheap option to gain some experience
Hi! Thanks for the comment! Yes I’m facing some of these experiences too, I’ve replaced the battery for the same reason and for me I seem to get a breakdown if I’m maxed out on the throttle in 5th for more than a couple of minutes, e.g if I’ve got it twisted right round to the stop it conks out then once I’m at the side of the road it starts straight up again, weird! Maybe getting too hot or cold 🤷🏻♂️ apart from that I’m enjoying it, like you say it’s a cheap intro into motorcycling and looks cool but it’s not something I’d be keeping long term after getting a full license 👍
well I didn't expect this !....I remember my 40th..... I just bought a cycling jersey saying 'over the hill' 😁 This is a slippery slope...pretty soon you'll have a stable of classic bikes
Nice one Mark, very pleased for you. Its amazing the value for money, have a lot of fun on it, ideal now summers almost here...and im guessing better fuel economy than ours mighty Jags😉😅👍
Hi Andrew, yes lots of fun even at very low speeds 😂 I’ve done over 100 miles now and still have a quarter of a tank from the £11 I put in when I got it 🤣
I'm about to "complete" my CBT this week (a complete disorganised farce who I'm taking it with, so part 2 on Saturday) and am looking at this type of bike too. The bikes are pretty much all the same and slightly customised by the likes of Mutt and Herald , but I am drawn to the style of British racing green and brown (or is it oxblood) leather seat of the Bullit/Blueroc. There's a lot of snobbery in this area just as in any other, and it's not like other "better" known brands don't have their issues too. You got a bargain that's for sure 😎 I'll keep an eye on further content on this bike of yours
Hi! Yes it’s a dark brown seat, maybe slightly reddish but definitely more brown. A few people did warn me off this type of bike, some thought that it would be a bit of a nightmare to maintain vs a better known brand and some said I shouldn’t go with a 125 at all and go for some lessons and direct access course. The reason I chose to buy it anyway was the price, I didn’t want to spend 4K on a bike I was likely to drop or damage and only keep short term and also I didn’t want to go straight for direct access and bigger bikes without more experience, even if I passed I’d feel a bit ‘green’ still and not using the controls instinctively. They’re probably right being more experienced bike people but this felt like a bit more of a gentle intro!
@@granblogismo Thanks for your reply. This is exactly the same situation I find myself in, and with age we know that gaining experience in anything rather than jumping in feet first is sensible option. I neither want to spend a lot of money on a 125 that I hope to progress within six months, but, six months of road experience behind me without the pressure and expense on intensive courses of training. Learning new set of coordination skills after years of driving (and cycling) isn't as easy as I first thought, so would rather get the basics down under my own steam for a few months, then start going for a full licence. Also, like you, the Royal Enfield range has my attention, I'm not interested in sports bikes or speeding around either, but I have learned, you usually never own just one bike 😁
Collecting a Yellow and black version (2nd hand 22 plate, 9 months old) next week. The ride home is 60 odd miles.... should be an interesting first ride 😮
Hi, I’m 5’11 so not overly tall, I think slightly taller people will still fit but the issue may be wind resistance and making it even slower 🤣 mainly because the way you sit is fairly upright without any wind protection so probably more drag 🤔
Thought I recognised that road! Reigate hill way, ride my Vespa and cycle up it all the time, we call it Fanny’s hill climb because of the farm at the bottom haha.
Have exactly the same bike, had an issue with the frame, it got a crack at a welding point after 6 000 km, fixed under warranty, lightbulb burnt after 3 000km. Changed tires to Michelin pilot street after a low speed slide caused by loss of traction due to nobly tires made of chinesium. Those bikes are a bit of a gamble, great looking though. Also speed wise, let's say calling it Bullit was kinda ironic 😂
Wow thanks for the info, yes the tyres do seem a bit ‘plasticky’ I haven’t ridden in the wet with it! Hoping I’ll be onto a different bike after a 1000 miles or so 🤞 haha yes not really a speed demon but good for learning the basics I reckon
Hi, I know you bought the bike with the top case structural support already installed, but do you have any idea where I can buy one? I cant seem to find it for the Bullit.
Hey! Loved the video, very informative I hope your riding journey continues on!! I had a question regarding the givi back box you don't like 😂, I'm on the hunt for one at the moment for a similar bike, do you know what model/where the previous owner got it from??
I’d say the engine/frame look identical so probably very similar performance so it comes down to style and price, the Bullit/Bluroc is cheaper and a bit more classic looking but the FB is maybe a bit more stylish and better finished?
I have this motorbike, with 4000kms, for 3 days the speedometer has gone from 'kmh' to 'miles', I am looking for the button supposed to be at the bottom behind the speedometer... impossible to find it, someone could tell me help ? I really feel like I looked good everywhere 🤔 Great video by the way 😇
Yeah the button is definitely there on the back of the speedometer, short press to switch from odometer to trip, long press to reset trip or change from mph/kph if odometer is shown, hope that helps? You’ve probably sorted it by now 😂
Hi, I’ve had mine up to 62 on a dual carriageway but it’s done around 1k miles now so if yours is new maybe it needs some running in to loosen things up a bit? Otherwise I’d check valve clearance, spark plug and air filter maybe to see if anything needs replacing/setting, hope you’re able to sort it 🤞
I have one, I've done 16000km you should immediatly change the chain for a better quallitty chain, the original chain is a real garbage, you will have problems with the fuel injectors. I'm not sure if I'll sell, I might keep it forever. after that I bought a Royal Enfield Bullet Trials replica from 1947.
I am a owner of a new Bluroc Legend with 1500 km.and have serious problems...no power (i climb hills in the 1.gear with 40 kmh.and the second gear has not power enough) and after every cold start the motor dies several times while running...the dealer has no solution and says it is a common problem with the controll electronics of this bike ,but the Bluroc company gives no support and doesent respond to inquiries. Beautiful on the outside, but poor in the inside...I am very disappointed!!!
Hi! Yes have a few cars that work I suppose, the MG like you’ve mentioned is one then we have a LR Discovery 3 and an Audi A4 Avant which are the daily drivers, I have a Jaguar XK8 which needs an ABS module to get it through the MOT then that will be back on the road so it’s only really the Lotus Esprit that doesn’t work… oh and a ride on mower which is broken 🤣
Yes I need to do one 🙈 not much bike action over the winter but I did get out the other day after fixing a couple of bits so I was thinking of doing a quick video on it! Summary: it’s still going fine, still slow 🤣
