Auto World holds the lease for the tooling to make Ertl, Ertl Elite and Ertl Authentics castings. Greenlight held the license for Bullitt at the time and approached Auto World with a plan to temporarily lease the Charger tooling to produce their own Bullitt Charger. These particular Chargers were manufactured in the Greenlight factory by Greenlight. Auto World's involvement was only in supplying the casting tools.
That makes sense about the licensing. Was shocked to see Autoworld on a Greenlight box. It’s better then typical Greenlight, but I would still pick Autoworld because like ERTL, I love em lol
