I work in the city centre and as a working professional I am concerned to see these people are partly responsible for the security and welfare of the public. I would urge the management and owners of Bullring to review this type of behaviour.
Those in charge are employing these thugs - they are a danger to the public and all of them need to be fired. My children will no longer be allowed to shop at the bullring because I could not risk their safety.
Paying lip service and not even doing that very well - F knows why we have these plonkers employed, I rather have fewer quality officers than these Bl00dy morons fannying about.

Why, they have control over private property and can can use reasonable force to to remove you whilst acting on behalf the owners of the center.. The same right you have on your own property. Just wasting police time.
@@askme1245 You can only take the security officer at his word and therefore acted in the best interest of his client. Public access doesn't necessarily mean right of way. I just wish these Auditors would get a grip sometime before the Government and police find way to act out public nuisance under common law.. Filming is one thing but If the security officer was right then it might be a different matter under public nuisance. Getting involved without just cause. Anyone can arrest for public nuisance under common law. The same for gathering alms in the street. Maybe the center needs to put signs up advising the public it's private property.

Part of good public relations and fair policing is to take an immediate interest to carryout an early assessment to proceed or not, thereby not losing evidence through the passage of time. Policing in the UK has become a wider joke with a huge mistrust the police as an organisation just don't get. They self orchestrate their own problems through select policing and incompetence, driven by senior ranks chasing big pensions an promotions, and into the bargain, adopting a scared approach to certain issues. Almost not fit for purpose unless you are of a minority background. Thank God we have an Army, Navy, and Air force, although that appears to becoming wokie as well.

I feel sorry for the independent traders that own business's here who have no idea that these bullies have ensured all of your followers who may have been their customers will avoid visiting their shops! They may be grateful for these tactics if it stops a 10y/o shoplifter....But they've now lost 100's of shoppers by no fault of their own!

AB, Plenty of us raised complaints at the time, and I for one got feedback from the ring in that they know about it and are investigating . So, what is the update from your side as this altercation was a few weeks ago now ?.

I just discovered this channel a few days ago. Well done AB on all you do, like the account below said i also wish someone would do it here in Ireland because the Police/Gardaí here are always abusing their powers. I was a Paralegal for years and have seen first-hand the way they treat people from the charges the Solicitor i worked for would have to fight for people being brought to court, most of which were for having their rights infringed upon. The Gardaí/Police would take the witness stand and lie through their teeth. To be honest if someone tried to do this here the Gardaí/Police would assault them, seize their camera, destroy what was filmed and it would " Mysteriously " disappear and i know in some/99% of cases depending on the Officer you get, they would have you in court for disturbing the Peace and assaulting THEM when in most cases it is the other way around. The Judge would take their side, convict you, fine or incarcerate you or both plus bind you to the peace for a few years. We have been classed as having the most corrupt Policing System in Europe if not the World according to one Public servant who had spoke out against them in our Parliament. Keep up the good work. Stop shopping where rogue councils/corporates employ rogue security - your family could get hurt. Many of these thug security have criminal records and are never checked properly - it is not a safe place for anyone - imagine if one or more of them was a Wayne Cousins type.

So let me see if I understand correctly..... The police are happy to violate your rights by abusing powers but when shown evidence of assault you can report it online. That is why the public are getting very angry with the service wer are be provided. They are simply just a gang.

OMG Who would let their family members go and shop at the bullring anymore with it being controlled by absolute thugs. Is the Church private? My husband volunteers at that church but no more after watching this. St, Martins is open to anyone and the church take our money. Oh well that is one family less to assist them. From now on there is no way my family will be giving the bullring our money! Do your job cops - if they assaulted a police officer they would soon find them. We pay the cops to police but all they want the public to do is do their job for them by going on line. Those security are obviously watching on camera and hiding from police. How is this acceptable security!
The issue is that the complain process is there to be ignored. They know this. They encourage their thugs to behave badly. It's a power thing. Doesn't matter if an innocent person is abused to them as long as they're removing a larger % of ppl they deem rowdy. This is normal. The status quo. It's good that you take the time to make a formal complaint because most people would only do it to non-security/police so these people think they can get away with bullying behaviour
i subbed for this content not sure about making the police look bad but security guards shouldnt be handling people like that IF he slipped and got injured who would they blame and how would "bullring" react to people being hurt on their premises by their > "staff"
I sent an email the first time this was uploaded and got a somewhat generic reply claiming "they were taking the issue very seriously and would be investigating it further" but hey ho, it looks even worse watching it for the second time.
Disgraceful! I work in the bullring, and the security guards really think they’re the police, good for sticking up for yourself, if I had witnessed what happened I would have spoken up for sure👍🇬🇧
