I get the point that bullies and victims are often victims of other types of abuse, and that does need to be addressed. What this doesn't respond to are the 75% of victims who aren't experiencing other types of abuse, and the majority of bullies who aren't experiencing it either. The right thing to do is remove the bullies from the learning environment and let everyone else get their education.
Some interesting focus points but the presentation was robotic and lacked intensity. Anti-Bullying is not a purely intellectual exercise , it has to have dynamic input from people who relate on a personal level . Schools rarely let others know that they have a bullying problem and use historical punishment methods through fear of trying something new !
