Here's Bumble Boogie from, Jools Holland's 'A Blackpool Big Band Boogie' - aired on the BBC on Sunday night - all Post production done in Newcastle at The East Wing. We had the pleasure of working with Whizz kid Entertainment and director Geoff Wonfor...Jools Holland's tribute to many big band greats, really worth a watch!

About as close to perfect as you can get on this mortal coil. Jools is spot on throughout, the supporting musicians add without detracting, in JUST the right amounts and even the video enhances this amazing performance. We are blessed to have Internet video to allow so many people access to this! Bravo!!!

Been to see them twice in Llandudno - what a performance - there was no one sitting down - Mrs and I were jiving like everyone else. The whole band is simply fantastic.

I put my infant grand daughter on my knee, turn up the volume on Jools, and after about half a tune she is in the zone, and is out by the end of the song, ready for a good mid day nap. I may have a bouncing boogie woogie b boppin baby girl on my hands.

Wow! I didn't expect that jazzed up classical piece af 3 mins in! 👏👏👏👏👏👏 I've loved Jools Holland my whole life. I watch his Hottananny every new year too, plus I record his weekly TV shows. If you're in the uk, watch out for this concert on tv. It might be on at Christmas! I caught it on tv either this year or last. I just sat there with my jaw on the floor! 🙌 🙌 🙌 Incredible!

The drummer's set is almost identical to one of mine, and he is no slouch with the sticks. I have loved this song in all it's various forms since I first heard it by B Bumble & the Stingers in 1961. I have close to 30 versions on my computer, including a different one by Jools and you have to give him credit, he's a genius on the keyboard.

This is my favourite version of this. The versions which have more Rimsky-Korsakov are ok - but they often sound like classical pianists showing off that they have faster fingers than blues and jazz guys. This is a much more authentic and fun boogie.

Stunning performance by Jools...world class, imo. The video editing, on the other hand, takes the sheen of my watching pleasure. Too many random, staccato cuts, jumping all over the place. Almost gave me the head staggers!

I have a special fondness for Bumble Boogie... as played by somebody else! Yeah.. lovely Emily Bear, who played this along with the Classical greats and her own modern jazz compositions.. ... at age NINE. Indeed, she had been publishing her own music since five. She's on RU-vid ..
