@@danielbedrosian8869 wow. Thanks for replying Danny. Fifty year P-Funk fan here. George and my late dad share birthdays. Back in the day, we couldn’t have imagined this (social media). We had to wait for the album, the tour or tv appearances on the Midnight Special or Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert. And fan magazines which, of course, didn’t get this deep. I’m getting your book next month. Hoping to finally discover who played bass on what! Lol. Especially Rumpofsteelskin (Whew Lord!)
@chetperry3384doesn't sound like big foot on drums I been listening to tiki, tyrone and jermoe lately they all had different styles Bernie and bootsy was the best they did their best music with gc
@@danielbedrosian8869 looking forward to that one as well. Thank you for the advance notice. I subscribed to your channel. Stay well Danny! Hi George and Carlon. Love you guys.
In early '77, when I was a teenager, I worked at the Indianapolis Convention Center, in the housekeeping department, cleaning up after concerts ended. It was a sweet part-time job, I found all kinds of crazy stuff, mostly lost dope. One night, I came to work, lo and behold, there was a P-Funk party going on. At the time, compared to other kids that I knew, I was already weird. I thought Howlin' Wolf was the man! I was aware of Parliament Funkadelic, I had heard of Bootsy, but I had no idea what all I was about to hear and see. By the time it was over, I was mesmerized, I was obsessed, I couldn't stop thinking about it, I wouldn't stop talking about it for days. I've been to P-Funk parties in Naptown, Memphis, Chicago, I can't keep track of them all anymore. I swear, over the years, I have woke up in the middle of any random night, thinking about exactly what this podcast is talking about.
I like live shows, but I prefer, and I'm seriously obsessed with studio recordings, in general.. Thank you so much for driving straight down my alley, with this podcast. I've got a bad case of CSS, so I'm not able to find a link, to purchase the book online. I'd love to have one. It's a brilliant idea. It seems there is a limited amount of accurate info about the whole story of these recordings that is online. Thanks for writing the book. If you would publish a link to purchase the book, hey, that'd be great. Otherwise, thanks again!
Amazing! Thanks for adding the video in the release, and not just the audio 🙌 Saw the other comment on potential tracks - would be fascinating to hear about Ruth Copeland, or his favorite venues in a particular country, his favorite Hip-Hop “featuring GC” track (I’ve lost track 100+?), and Silly Millimeter (anything from Electric Spanking tbh, Icka Pricka, Electro Cuties), also would he like/want to go to space on one of those short duration missions (like William Shatner -Capn Kirk did)

Μany times the inspiration of a man does the same to others, so the mothership connection inspired me and I reproduce it every time my twin children breastfeed their mother.
