Just used your video to install my intercooler and after refitting the bumper I had massive gaps, this video has helped big time also. I also found that the 3 bolts that hold the bumper on each side were causing my bumper to be sagging.If you get someone to lift the bumper and then tighten the screws on each side it helps massively. Thanks for the guides bud!

Yeah I currently have nice saggy gaps. I'm gonna try bolts with nuts and washers. If that doesn't work I have a plan in mind but that's future stuff 🤔

There should be some adjustment to be had by loosening the crash bar bolts and pulling the crash bar up a little. This should bring all associated components up with it

Spot on my slam panel was loose on the passenger slide , had like an inch of play up and down

Give it a try and let me know. It definitely lifts the front of the bumper up a significant amount. I just need to fix my bolts that are holding the side of my bumper on aha

My fusion titanium has a quarter inch gap on the passenger side near the headlight. I’m gonna try this and hopefully it works.

Car Rambles so I had just bought the car used and I thought maybe this was the issue. Turns out the dealership must not have closed the hood properly since is has two locking points. A good drop fixed my problem. Don’t know why I didn’t try that to begin with 😂

I've heard there are operations to basically push it all up a bit so I mean ..... It's definitely do able? Wouldn't recommend doing that mod yourself though. Go to a human garage. Use CR10 for a discount ;)

I changed my intercooler recently. The gaps are really bugging me! I tried this and retightening the other bolts while holding it up and still the same. 😕 Waiting on DC3d Design to come up with his bumper gap kit.

I wish my bumper gaps were as small as yours, mine are like half inch , looks like the car has been in a smash . Took my bumoer off and the slam panel was loose and had dropped half inch , had to Jack it all up and re tighten the slam panel

@@stewillis7040 the maxton splitter managed to ruin the bumper so it'll never now sit right, the bonnet to bumper gap is sorted, the fender to bumper is awful aha

Hi, you mentioned that there's a second set of bolts that may need tightening (not shown in this video), do you know how to get to these? (I'm terrible with cars but really anal about these things) Just tried this on my ST and it helped a tiny bit. Thanks!

Second set of bolts are what hold the bumper on itself, just underneath the headlights. However it can sometimes cause more problems than good aha
