--------------- It depends. In busy congested airspaces it is recommended to maximize the use of the autopilot to increase your situational awareness, therefore disconnecting the autopilot later on (like in this video). However, in less congested airspace I'm really keen on hand flying as much as possible, therefore disconnecting once established on the ILS, at around 10 miles or even sooner :)
