I haven’t watched the film, but I heard from somewhere on the internet that Dazai wanted Chuuya to use Corruption to defeat the enemy, but Chuuya didn’t trust him and refused. That’s why, in a last-ditch effort to convince him, Dazai stabbed himself in the leg, proclaiming, “[…] I can’t lose either Chuuya, or the Port Mafia”.

Yes, he was great as Dazai. But the sad thing is he never said anything when he left the BSD Stage. We were left waiting why he wasn't in the cast announcement of the Dead Apple stage play. And he didn't even announced it through any social media platform that he's no longer playing Dazai. All we do know is that when he signed up with the Umebou group that's when he left the BSD Stage play. But he's still friends with his former cast mates. And it saddens me when people hate on Rui when its not his fault that he's our Dazai now. He's new to this fandom and some people shit on him 😔

@@RoryRac I can feel you but I don't hate him or whatever, just that, since I saw those powerful stage plays and the most real life dazai I've ever seen in my fangirling life 😅, I can't replace him with others in my mind now 🥺 they're all good, there's no doubt. Maybe it's because I'm too obsessed with him 😅 And plus, thank you for uploading such great videos from the stage and the movie 😇🙏
