The Swedish Resia label was a supermarket low price label. Not very surprisingly owned by a supermarket named Resia. Today forgotten more or less of most people, but not by Swedish 78rpm collectors since it's a quite usual label to find. It was edited in various colours, however, the green labelled Resia is more obscure, one reason is that there was not so many recordings altered in this series. Like most low price labels the main music was anonymously edited or using pseudo names, so also for the green label. It seam to have been reserved for recordings Resia have bought abroad. This one was previously edited at Vocalion. Without to much fantasy, Resia changed Bunny Beragans name to Benny Bondy. They also tell us at the label that the recording was English, but that's another lay. It was recorded May 4th of 1933 in New York. Resia was pressed in Germany by the German Crystallite.
Bunny Berigan (1908-1942) trumpeter and band leader, (I must admit that I didn't know he had an orchestra already in 1933, but that's the information I've got from SMDB) He was playing with other orchestra leaders as Paul Whiteman, Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman and so on. His alcoholic problems ended his life just 33 years old.

This identical recording is also on a Melotone label record as Gene Kardos & His Orchestra. Bunny played for a slew of bands until he made a name for himself around 1937. He sure packed a lot of musical accomplishments during his short 33 year life span. A total pro for sure.

@lanco001 Thx for your comment, SMDB is the media site from the royal Swedish libarary, have registered nearly every record editied for the Swedish market for decades ,you can search here; smdb.kb.se/catalog/search. Look under anmärkning (and use google translater) I suppose The information is taken from the record companies registration, but there is sometimes failiure in the information. The matriss should be from Vocalion 15885

While Bunny might have actually been on this record, although you can't actually hear anything that sounds like him, I doubt the rest of the info for as much as I know about him. What is SMDB? I really doubt that this is Bunny's band with a name change.
