Rabbits go nuts for vegetables, mine at least. If I just sat a huge amount out I'd bet she would eat it all. It's just kind of sad that a large amount of their diet is supposed to be hay so you're really not supposed to give them a ton of vegetables (and even less fruits). I would say how much she fed hers is normally right, maybe up to twice a day, but I normally only give mine about a bowl full every day. If I could I'd let her eat as much as she could, they really are adorable when they eat vegetables, especially radishes (insane how cute the squish and crunch is). And of course I'm sure different breeds of rabbits may get different amounts. Also, no expert, I'm sure tons of people may pounce on my comment and say how wrong I am. Well, my rabbit has been going strong for years so at least I'm close to the correct amounts :P

Well rabbits do eat a lot, simply due to a few reasons. 1) as a prey animal, it's instinctive for them to shove down food quickly while it's safe with no predators around. 2) Rabbits have a pretty fast digestive process, which is one reason why the poop...a LOT lol. 3) Not only do they have fast digestion, but they also have a fast metabolism which can be fatal if they stop eating for extended periods of time. long story short, a rabbits stomach will basically eat itself if the bunny doesn't eat for a long time......rabbits are also just greedy little buggers who will happily munch their way to obesity lol

tracy fae fanged Rabbits /bunnies/ must eat nearly constantly. This is because their organs are built as cow's. It is small cow:) The best food for them is grass as for cows or horses and water to drink. Otherwise their stomach is often sick and the same as cow, bunny and rabbit can't vomit as cat or dog. This is why high quality diet is so important to a bunny :)

@ClaraMP // 羊 Subliminals actually kale is one of the most nutritious foods for a rabbit to eat and as long as they are fed about a few leaves a day, it helps them to remain healthy. If you overfeed kale to your rabbit it isn't healthy though.

Ariella Holbert Im sorry you are giving out very wrong information, rabbits can have kale everyday, along with pellets & Hay. Kale has very low sugar unlike carrots, so kale can be fed everyday, while carrots can not. It is good to give variety though.
