I copy and pasted this from a different link for this video, read. i have several issues with this video.... 1 rabbits don't need to be bathed ever 2 rabbits spines are very fragil and break easily, so they should never be left on their backs 3 you should support and hold the rabbit to prevent any unfortunate accidents 4 pouring water over them can cause them to breathe in water, causing aspiration pneumonia 5 rabbits go into a trance on their backs as a fear mechanism not as enjoyment. however a very laid back rabbit may go into a trance on it's back briefly while cuddling, but only for a short amount of time as they are not made to lay on their backs. Ok i'm done, just saying... Do your research people
Poor little precious thing, I hope you sttoped giving him baths and putting him on his back, because that is not healthy for him :/ I don't want to think you're bad with him but just ignorant. I read the description of that video but still that was so wrong!
Where did you get him? I lost my pet rabbit and that rabbit in the video looks just like my lost rabbit. Just making sure, where did you get that rabbit? (Don't worry i'm not blaming you, i'm just checking)
Since you disabled comments on your other video - that video of a bunny getting a bath is NOT funny, cute, or adorable. That poor thing was TERRIFIED. You NEVER give it a bath! If the bunny is that "dirty" call your vet and ask for advice on how to clean a rabbit instead of traumatizing an animal and acting like it's funny. Shame on you.
I gave my rabbit a bath, once a month for 13 years . You know not of what you say, stop being an idiot. She would jump right in the water , on her own. My vet never said a darn thing was wrong with giving her a bath.
hogwartspta there is a difference i think. if you force your rabbit to take a full on bath, it'll scare them. If a rabbit wants the bath they know it's coming and they know what they're doing. But the main problem with the video isn't the bath. It's the rabbit being flipped upside down like that. When you do that, the rabbit falls into what is known as a trance. What happens is the blood rushes to their brain. It's not good for them.
@@hogwartspta rabbits get hypothermia very easily. You got lucky with baths, plain and simple. Rabbits shouldn't ever be bathed unless a medical condition warrants it and the vet recommends it. Every time you bathe a rabbit, you risk death due to hypothermia.
Btw in the video where you bathe him. You're not supposed to bathe a bunny, you should look it up before owning an animal, it is harmful for them and was probably in shock, the reason why it wasn't moving much...
You are very much correct. Rabbits get hypothermia really easily. One should never bathe a rabbit unless instructed by a vet. Rabbits should never be on their backs. The rabbit was not calm and nor did it fall asleep. Putting rabbits on their back puts them in an involuntary state of paralysis due to fear. That video is 100% animal abuse and they know, hence turning off the commenting.
That video about the bunny bathing is animal abuse! He was playing dead, where they temporarily go into paralysis! I don't want to think of you as a bad owner (although I already do), but he was fearing for his life!
I've just watched your video of you bathing your bunny, I really do hope you've stopped doing that. Yes, your bunny looks comfortable, but what your bunny did, is called trance. Your bunny is 'playing dead'and is tamporarily paralyzed fearing for his life. I do know you love your bunny, but please, do some researches before you own one. You can search on Google to know more about trance.
Nuku Puffs I do with my bunny had him from he was 6weeks he is now two I use a small basin with just enough water to cover his feet so don’t be a know it all he is white I have to clean him
You are very much correct. It's literally torture and animal abuse for the rabbit. They appear calm but it's an involuntary paralysis. This can very much kill rabbits. Looking at her rabbit videos, most of it is rabbit abuse. Rabbits should never be on their backs nor should you ever give a rabbit a bath (unless there's a medical reason with a vet's ok). Baths are harmful to rabbits as they're super susceptible to hypothermia. I hope this person never owns another rabbit :(
Yea it’s literally fucking abuse. It’s paralyzing the bunny with fear to the point where they will not move and some can go to in shock and die . Some people do not need rabbits for pets! And you are never supposed to give a rabbit a bath.
