Bunny's One Year Update 

Jenna doesn’t give herself and julien enough credit for the freaking INCREDIBLE job they have done making bunny feel safe and loved in their home

it amuses me that their oldest dog is the smallest while the youngest dog is by far the biggest

I want to be resurrected as one of Jenna's animals.

Reminds me a little of my pit bull, who was a bait dog. They’d pulled all his teeth, cropped his ears BY THEMSELVES, and used him to train fighting dogs. He has lots of scars because of it. When we brought him home, he didn’t want anything to do with us, didn’t like toys, and HATED other dogs (they told us the opposite). He almost seemed depressed. When he finally did get attached to me, he had separation anxiety and would tear up anything he could get to. Now, he loves us, toys, and the other family dogs. He even does great with the cat, the chickens, and the ducks. Never chews anything up, never fights (anymore). He’s a big baby

My greyhound recently passed away at the end of April and it's still affecting me, but watching Bunny makes me remember that there's hundreds of greyhounds still without homes and I know that once summer comes around and quarantine is lifted, my family and I are going to rescue another pupper and give them the life they deserve.

I couldn't bring myself to watch this video until now because we just lost our giant tapdancing horse - I mean rescued greyhound - two weeks ago, on the same day you uploaded this video. She was so sweet natured and beautiful and I'll miss her forever. She had the same fawn and white colours as Bunny! One of the most wonderful things about rescuing a greyhound is seeing them become a dog and seeing their beautiful personalities shine. I'm so happy with how Bunny has progressed and seeing your little updates. She looks like such a sweetheart and I am so so happy she found you guys! 💜

As a professional dog trainer, I can’t even begin to explain to you how refreshing it is to see someone so incredibly dedicated to working through issues their dog has. You have done such a commendable job introducing her to your home and your pack. I love seeing Bunny thrive. You guys were a perfect match for her. ♥️

jenna literally taught her dog how to communicate if she consents or doesn’t consent to touching, and people STILL try to drag jenna for the littlest shit???? WHY???? jenna is one of the least problematic people i’ve ever seen in my life. why are people so hateful, like damn.

There's an old saying (from the Quran, I think): "S/he who saves one life, it is as if s/he had saved the whole world." You two mean the world to Bunny, and I'm so glad you found each other. You made a world of difference to this dog's life. I hope to rescue a fur baby someday

My 19 month old son loves watching videos about your dogs. These are your pets, according to him. Kermit and Peach = Dawk. They are one dog. Named Dog. Bunny = Moose. Moose says, "Moo moo." Marble = MABAS! Mabas is an owl and says, "Hoo hoo!" I hope this brightens your day. :)

I absolutely love the family dynamic of mr. marbles being a tiny old man and bunny being an enormous child

the way that jenna talks about each of her dogs like she is just raising children is like the most beautiful and touching thing in the world

Bunny’s relationship with Julien is now my most favorite thing in the entire world

You know, I feel not just anyone could’ve handled a dog like Bunny, not socialized, need more attention and work than others, but Jenna and Julien were perfect for her. They understand the work they needed to do and how to work with her, and willing to put in all the work. Now Bunny is happy and comfortable and has home and family.

As a dog enthusiast, bred them, raised them, trained them, groom them professionally, people need to take some tips from Jenna and Bunny's experience. I don't believe this training always works, but if you have a sensitive breed or a rescue dog of any caliber, you should take notes and apply them to you and your dog's experience. Great job Jenna, you and Jullian are a blessing and are wonderful.

Bunny's long horse arms are my favourite. Goodness gracious, you and Julien are fantastic dog parents, ily. The amount of understanding, positive energy, positive reinforcement and ethical interaction you provide to your dogs is so delightful. You treat them like the people they are. So many humans consider their pets their "property", treating them like garbage and not interacting with them like they should, depriving them of social interaction or abusing them. You two on the other hand know and understand that they're conscious little beings with emotions and intelligence who deserve to be treated like people. So much patience and good vibes, I love how you do it.

Tiny detail that I’m in love with: the way Jenna says Bunny “respects” rules. She doesn’t just say, “Oh, she’s very well trained.” Idk it’s a hard thing to articulate but I just like how Jenna acknowledges Bunny as a smart, understanding animal.

Bunny is literally just like a _peaceful_ horse who will take your food

I started tearing up when Jenna said Bunny *loves* to play with Julien and considers him her play buddy. Then I couldn't control my tears the rest of the video. I am seriously so happy that Bunny is now comfortable with her new owners, new siblings, new house, new everything. It's so heartwarming to see her progress every week on this channel. We can literally see her opening up every time, and the progress she made is very heartwarming and exciting. I am so proud of Bunny, and I am especially proud of Jenna and Julien for doing such a fantastic job in giving Bunny all the love she deserves. She is such a wonderful and lovable dog. She couldn't have asked for a better family. She is one of the luckiest dogs out there who got to have a second chance at life at just being a dog and being able to live with love, happiness and health. I am so happy for her.

And 3 years later this video still makes me sob, you guys give me hope in the world. You make me want to be this patient and kind all the time, you help me take deep breaths when my chest feels the tightest. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all your years on RU-vid. I'm in my final year of college and I've been watching since I was 11. I can't thank you enough

You guys did a great job with raising her. You healed her. I remember how she was when she first came to you. She is definitely in a good space now. She never made noise. She has become a good dog now.

I get the trust process. My cat was a street cat that I spent 4 years getting her to trust me to cut her nails. I can cut her nails with ease now, and she knows she will be ok.

Bunny is Jenna and Julien's only actual dog. Kermit, Peach, and Marbles are something else entirely.

it’s really impressive how well they did with bunny. taking in a troubled dog and putting in the work to help them is fucking BRUTAL, and takes so so so so much patience and love. it’s really uplifting watching bunny now versus then.

Mission Impossible: trying to get Bunny’s whole face in focus and not just her nose

I'm already laughing because Bunny's snoot is so long that the camera can never focus on her entire face at the same time XD

This gave me so much hope, I recently adopted a Podenco (Grey hounds cousin), a breed really mistreated by hunters in Andalucia (in Spain) She is 1 year old and so scared and lethargic, its been almost a month and the progress is so slow that sometimes I think she is like that forever and its just too sad. But seeing Bunny shine with her personality thanks to all the love and work you do renovated my energies. Its been a couple of rough days and not enough good ones, but she needs her own time and all the love she wants. Thanks for the video

I wish that these videos had been out when we adopted our rescue (not a greyhound). I didn't go looking for it, but this was 4 ish years ago and most people didn't talk about their struggles like that so openly. seeing other people struggles and successes bringing a rescue into their home while trying to get them used to life and a house and teach them how to dog, etc is really special. I hope other future rescue parents see all the bunny videos and realize that when it seems really hard and you don't know what else to do, just stay the course. you'll get there. it's worth it.
