I think that we lost all meanings of what eurovision really is.Its about having fun and being funny about peapole form different counterys comming together at one concert and having a blast supporting their countery and also tolerenting other couterys.These grannys made an unforgettable performance to remind us of that :)
I remember watching this. That was so shocking yet amazing that this became the most memorable Eurovision performance of all time, only behind Lordi...
This and Russia 2016 are so memorable for me. This should’ve won, so different and cute. As well as Sergei in 2016. It is mind blowing that he didn’t win. Don’t understand it at all.
@@kartmo It's important because they're a folk ensemble, so ethnicity matters far more than with globalised songs. Papers don't matter for ethnicity, tradition does. Different folk traditions, so they don't represent Russian folk music but rather Udmurt folk music.
I wonder why some people say that these awesome ladies are not Russian. They are same Russian as every person who lives in Russia. Russia is multinational country. They are not Slavic, they are Udmurt... but what`s wrong with this? Udmurts are native people here alone with many other nations. It`s like to say that American Idnians are not true Americans.
@@montsalvat4utube Every big country is multiethnic. Germany, France, the UK, China, Canada, and the USA are also multiethnic with different languages. Germany has the Slavic "Sorbian" group in the eastern areas, France has the Bretton in Brittany, the UK has Scotland and Wales, China has Xinjiang, Canada and the USA have native American tribes.
@Denis Gabr Zarytskiy Russia is amasing ... there are for example areas where you can travel with buddist nomades and their sheeps horses and camels, visit a buddist monastery, see a blooming lotus field and end your journey in a russian city with a beautiful fortress and numerous nice merchant houses
I get goosebumps with this one... not for the singing or the song itself...but for the love and the idea of having fun reflected in the singers and the audience at the same time... both sides were clearly loving this whole thing
Oh lord I still love this so much :) Not really because of the catchy song though. I just love to see those beautiful grannys doing something so unexpected and I love how authentic they look and sound like. This was such a nice idea of the russian ESC :) Love it. And I wish those ladies all the best only.
2018 год. Прошло столько лет, а я каждый год ищу это видео..Как же болела за наших бабушек!! Каждый день ждала конкурса, читала комментарии, переживала. Лучшее выступление за всю историю участия России в Евровидении. Аналога не будет. Никто не сможет повторить обояния и очарования наших старушек.
I'm watching this performance years after and I still enjoy it as at the time they participate. They are amazing, so cute..!!! I like the jury expression - some enjoy themself, some not knowing what's happening :) .. The crowd loved it ... !!
@alsuri2203 yes!! I come back on occasion and watch this because I absolutely LOVE entries like this that showcase different aspects of the culture from the country. The Turkish entry from that year was like that too.
Так жалко бабушек...они представляют Россию со всех сторон. 1. Много национальной страной, со разными языками. 2. В коем то веке, Россия аппеоирует действительно к национальной истории. О грустном: у Барановских Бабушек ОТОБРАЛИ их имя группы! Теперь они Бабушки из Бураново. Две из них уже умерли, одна боролась с раком 6 лет. Они не разбогатели, не стали супер популярными в России, хотя продолжают выступать на местных фестивалях. Государству по большей части плевать)
*Не повезло оказаться 2-ум лучшим хитам за всю историю Евровидения на одном конкурсе 🤯😱 Я тогда не обратил на это внимания и не понимал почему Бабушки "проиграли". На деле, приз отдали легендарной "Юфориа", что совсем не стыдно. Но Бурановские оставили свой след на всю историю Евро! Исконно-народный стиль и минимализм - всё что нужно такой проникающей в душу песне. Я в восторге каждый год...*
Я верю, друзья и мои читатели, что таких людей в России не перечесть! А уж, те, кто занимается пением, музыкой, танцами, имеют необыкновенные способности! Это в крови нашей многонациональной России! Спасибо всем, кто побеждал и будет еще побеждать в конкурсах, шоу, кастингах!
Такая душа в них...и видно что они вместе душами..надежно ..по- настоящему. и не бросят друг друга до последнего. Люди - того лучшего поколения. Такие светлые и хорошие.
