Back then, I was brand new but everyone already knew each other from middle school and formed groups-- it was terrifying. I was alone and surrounded by such talented people I felt like I couldn't compare to. But suddenly, it was amber, orange, yellow, pink. Your video was so warm and colorful, even the dullest shades of brown had become beautiful to me. Your video eased my anxieties and gave me the courage to keep my head up. Now, even though I go months and months without listening-- even though I forget its existence at times-- this video somehow always manages to come back to me whenever I'm ready to give up. Like today, for example, I've been so tired and dejected and scared for the future, everything was black. Then you showed up in my recommended, and now here you are, filling my world with color yet again. Sorry, that was really lengthy. Day 71 - Today I watched *"Weathering With You"* or *"Tenki no Ko"* . I had two movies in mind to watch today , first was this and the other was *"5 Centimeters per Second"* . Both are directed by Makoto Shinkai and I decided to check the latest one among the two. Weathering With You is a good movie. I don't know what else to say about it. I enjoyed it but I was expecting a little more background about the legends of Sunshine Girl and that Dragon Spirit or God responsible for that weather . Probably I was quiet immersed in the story that's why I wanted more of it . Now keeping the movie aside , I think my views and grasp of different subjects are slowly changing. I fear that I shall one day stop enjoying these types of movies . I think I should watch something of another genre that will probably freshen me up . I don't know if I should say this but I like *"A Silent Voice"* more . I feel more connected to the story from A Silent Voice. Weathering With is good in her own sense. Runaway by Aurora is a beautiful song. There is another song that I have been listening continuously for past three days . It is Mystery of Love by Sufjan Stevens from the movie Call Me By Your Name. This song pulls certain strings in my heart . It makes me feel things , like something in my heart that I am unable to express. It makes me want to live someone else's life ,in some distant place and feel love or something like that. Today I played Badminton . We had to make a court from scratch all by ourselves . The thing that I found the most hard were - properly maneuvering or hovering in the court , changing the grip of racket and my stamina. Badminton is different from volleyball . It is really fast paced and quickly tires you up. I played two sets and lost both of them .I only ate potatoes the entire day. I drank banana shake and ate some mangoes too. I played volleyball too. We lost the first set and won the next two. All matches were tight, the margin was always of two points between winning and losing team. I practically know nothing about volleyball and I was learning as I was playing . I never played any sports during my entire childhood and teen hood. So if you get the chance, try to play any game in which you can contribute to. You don't need to be a champion ,an ace or a beast at that game. But your participation is most important .So do participate and your elder self will thank you for that. I find Timothée Chalamet really attractive. Currently I am waiting for his movie Dune. Speaking of actors , I like Jennifer Lawrence. It's nothing to do with her acting skills, I just like her. Everything started when I saw her movie The House at The End of The Street . It was a thriller film and its stayed with me for a quiet long time. I was quiet young when I watched that movie . Then I saw her in Hunger Games , X Men and The Passengers. I still don't understand if she is my movie crush or not but I like her. I feel like I fell for Timothée's looks. He surely is an attractive person. I was feeling normal today. Nothing special happened. I was going to meet my aunt but cancelled the visit. And if you are feeling down then remember that you can always find me here. I will always be here for you. A virus, my first year of high school, and a lot of smaller things that I could go one for hours listing. I’m so glad that people have trusted my story. I’ll be back in another 6 months or maybe another year. We’ll see. Bye for now! Edit 2: almost to another 6 months. My life has improved so much since last edit. I’ve made so many new friends, this girl I like likes me too, I’m learning to drive, my classes are going… just okay, but I’m happy. I’m running into some walls occasionally, but I always try to find a way around them, whether that be breaking through, climbing over, or whatever it takes, I’ll try my best to conquer them. Maybe sending this song to the girl I like would help me really articulate how I feel… Edit 3: holy shit, it’s been a year since I made this comment. We are now platonic ghibli buddies B) My classes have been goin a lot better recently, and I’ve started to figure out what I want to do later in life. I’m thinking voice acting/acting (probably as a side thing because it is very difficult to live with only that) and 3D modeling/animation. I’m taking a 3D animation class rn, and it’s been super super fun to learn how to animate and all that jazz. Really the only bad thing that’s happened in my life recently was the passing of my uncle. He was epileptic and developmentally disabled among other things, and he was an amazing person, and I haven’t gone a day without thinking “oh, he would have liked this shirt” or “he won’t ever get to play the new Lego Star Wars game” or without saying one of his many signature catchphrases. My, what a way to end an update! Sorry if I made any of y’all sad or anything, but I hope to see you all again in 6 months (or whenever I make the next update)! P.S. I’m curious how much imma cry when I finally listen to this song again. (Hint: prolly a crap ton) Edit 4: I don’t really know how long it’s been since the last update, but it doesn’t matter much for what I’m going to say. I’ve begun to figure out who I am and what I want to do. I’ve discovered that I’m bisexual, and while I’ve only explicitly told this to random people on discord and now all of you here on RU-vid, it’s been so nice to be able to have something figured out about myself. I’m aiming to be a voice+stage+film actor and/or make/animate 3D models for (hopefully) video games. I’m an upperclassman now, going into my Junior year, i can drive legally… it’s so strange to me that I’m now at a point that seemed so far when my siblings were in this same place in their lives but it came faster than I could have ever expected. That last sentence might be just a tad incoherent, and I apologize if so lol. On a separate note, holy crap so many good games are coming out later this year. The two that I’m probably most excited for are Splatoon 3 and BOTW 2. Oh, and on the topic of video games, my grandparents, who took care of my uncle before he died, gave me his second Xbox one that he would take with him when he traveled. It felt… strange to take it and then be told to pick games from where they belonged on his shelves, but I’ve just thought that my uncle wouldn’t want his games to just collect dust in his lair, he’d want the people he loved and who loved him to love the things he loved as much as he loved them. That’s a lot of love. The first game I beat on his Xbox one was halo 5, which I would always start with him when I went over for sleepovers, but he would always start it over the next time I was at his and my grandparent’s house, so I never got more than halfway into it. When I beat it, it was such a cool feeling. I thought about how my uncle is the reason I ever got into video games and 3D stuff. There’s that and so much more that he gave me and I know that I won’t ever be able to realize it all, but I will try my best.
