As a further cost-cutting move, Southwest AL has now done away with boarding platforms altogether at Burbank. Now they just throw a rope out the door. Luv!
RE: 52:42 McCaron International Airport (sic) After being known for over 70 years as McCarran Int'l Airport, Las Vegas changed the name to Harry Reid Int'l Airport in Dec. 2021. While he had been a longtime advocate of commercial aviation, Sen. Patrick McCarran also had a rather unfortunate history of perpetuating racism, xenophobia and antisemitism, which included authoring legislation to restrict the number of Jewish immigrants coming into the United States from Europe after the Holocaust.
