So many people inside need music like yours to lean on and help do their bit. You're the realest and love all your music. You've been on constant repeat since I came home in February. Your experience with addiction, trauma and just overcoming life is an inspiration for us all. Never give up bro. I don't know where I'd be without your music holding me down.

This crazy, I was in prison with the dude and he was just another face. Glad he got out and made something happen from his past. It's hard to make anything happen in Florida after prison. Good for him.

I just heard this song last night for the first time. You know I became a fan this year my daughter's birthday was Easter Sunday April 4th and I saw a video where burden was saying his birthday was on easter. I watched his video with the people and instantly became a fan. Yes even old people listen to rap! But this one made me cry which isn't that easy to do. That could have happened to anyone and it's heartbreaking to know that you had to lose a best friend and then you had to go to prison for it. I personally would never have been able to find you guilty because I think you had your own hell that you had to live in there's nothing prison was going to be able to do to you that you weren't going to be able to do to yourself in your own head. But I'll love this message of not letting your past define your future. That's realest shit I've ever heard!

Damn, I just recently got turned on to you're music, this just made me tear up, my best friend got shot 3 times in the stomach as we were walking out his front door when we was teens, we both fell with him on top of me, its nothing close to what you went through, he didn't die but the feeling I had in my gut when I was trying to stop the bleeding is a feeling I will never forget, I remember thinking my best friend's gonna die in front of me, I kept having like little brief flashes of memories is the best way I can describe it and I remember feeling like it was taking hrs for help to get there even though help was there in less than 7 mins, I remember how I felt at the hospital while we were waiting for him to get out of surgery and I also remember the relief I felt when the doctor came out and said he was gonna be ok... In no way am I comparing my situation to yours, i just wanted to share it with you, I couldn't imagine loosing my best friend and then going to prison for it when I know and he knows I would never hurt him on purpose and iam 100% sure you're friend knows you would never hurt him...

I imagine thats a large part of the motivational drive for you to be more than you are to do more than you can. To live, TO LIVE up to both YOUrs and AUSTINS full potential because hes not physically here to do it himself. The ways that being his friend and who he was have contributed to the shaping and making of the man you are today is one of the ways he lives on and made a difference in this world. Something similar happened to a girl id met the night before at a party that had flirted with me all night and i found out the next day when i tried to call her she was in jail. She had accidentally shot her best friend in the head with her dads loaded shotgun shed pulled out after the party while she was drunk and started messing around and it had a hair trigger. Man i met those two one time and that shit haunts me to this day just imagining what she went through afterwards. I think about it every time i hold a gun. Its not the same thing at all but ive had a glimpse of that ocean of regret and sorrow from the shoreline and i am truly sorry that you experienced something so horrifically tragic first hand. I hope you are able to forgive yourself someday if you have not already, and i hope you have reason enough to believe and know Austin would/has forgiven you and would want you to do the same for yourself. Nobody plans an accident unless they are an assassin or a con man....or maybe a woman whom "accidentally" got impregnated...sorry, i had to lighten things up even if only for a second cause thats a heavy Burden you carry.
