Hello I'm a new subscriber. YES Burdock has amazing benefits. if you make a big pot strain it and drink it as a beverage all day, rather hot or cold you WILL SEE THE BENEFITS. Your complexion starts to glow over night, your weight will decrease, your awareness becomes enhanced like MAGIC...The burdock pills, tea bags or the actual root are all AMAZING!!

Kyle Yes it seems it can be. "The wild or store-bought root can be eaten cooked or raw: added to soups or sauteed with carrots and sesame seeds, or grated in salads and coleslaw. Burdock can also be juiced for a delicious and refreshing healing beverage." Learn more: www.naturalnews.com/027521_burdock_root_blood.html#ixzz4Vc0HtLvy

Hey Kyle, I am an avid Sebi follower. You would definitely have to reach out to someone other than a Sebian on this one. All TRUE Sebians will tell you no. If it's not on the list, don't take it. Just try reaching out to anyone with an alkaline diet instead. They are more open to other practices and foods.

I just bought dried burdock root from an herbal store, I did not know Whole Foods carries it in fresher form. Do you have to necessarily dry the root completely if you're going to seep it in water right away?
@bonsummers2657
@bonsummers2657 7 лет назад
I roast the dried burdock root granules I get from the local food coop, then grind in my antique dutch coffee grinder, then put a teaspoon in a pot, add about a cup of water, boil, then pour in to a coffee filter in my coffee maker ( I don't drink coffee),…. then drink the hot brew. Feels so balanced, feels so good, feels so healthy. I rarely drink it, but I just had some now,… and wow, so balancing when you get the hankering for it. Just plain, nothing added,.. that's the only good way for me, no sweeteners or flavors added. It's great on its own. It's plain-earthy tasting, but in a way that's beautiful. I live to perform, that's why I have some. I live to thrive. I consume simply.

Thanks for the video. Can you explain how Dr. Sebi approved. Can you make a Sarsaparilla Tea. Thanks so much. I would appreciate it
@ModestVeganChik
@ModestVeganChik 7 лет назад
Hello. Burdock is not listed on Dr. Sebi's nutritional guide but it is an approved herb that he talked about in his video lectures & it is also one of the ingredients of his Bio Ferro supplement that you can order from his website. Soon as I get a hold of the sarsaparilla herb I will gladly do a video. Thanks so much for watching!

Hi Isaiah S, Good question. I'm not sure. It's worth a try. I love ginger tea. The Burdock Root turned out so good. I think letting it sun dry helped a lot. May have to give that a try myself. Stay tuned... Appreciate for watching! :-)

+Isaiah S ginger is a succulent root. If you dry it you may not be able to get the max of it. Just peel and mash the ginger in a pestel or something and add to boiling water and simmer for a bit. The taste is strong so go for a small chunk before you try a big one :) also works well with turmeric or lemon sweetened with honey.

modestveganchik ok cool! Because of you purchased a tea pot with infuser. Could I place the ginger root in the infuser like you did with the burdock root? Will it have the same affect?
@ModestVeganChik
@ModestVeganChik 6 лет назад
Yes you could for a quicker method. Just be sure to shred or chop the ginger to open it up for more flavor. The longer you steep it the more spicy it will be.

question these herbs are pretty dangerous correct me if I'm wrong don't you think I made 1/2 teaspoon of the burdock root cut and placed it in 1cup of water now I guess my question is how much can I drink this in a week my primary care doctor said I should return this herb amongst other cause of the side effects
@ModestVeganChik

Burdock is one of the healthiest herbs. I have had no issues with it. I drink it a few times a week as a hot tea. Love it!

how much do you use and how much water do you put it also can you drink too much of burdock tea?
@ModestVeganChik

Yes a 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp is what I use when making just a cup.
@ModestVeganChik
@ModestVeganChik 7 лет назад
8 oz of water for a cup is what I use. 2-3 cups a day is my limit on any tea. Not sure what too much does to the body.

Too much waste. You threw away all the fiber and too many nutrients. Next time maybe save the shredding to add to a salad as well. 😊
@ModestVeganChik
@ModestVeganChik 7 лет назад
I never threw any of the shredded root out. It was reused to make more tea. The leftover shavings were put into a jar. Thanks for the tip. But actually none of my burdock root went to waste :-)
