My recent holiday visit to Norfolk took me to the Wells & Walsingham Light Railway and the Bure Valley Railway. In this video, there are a few shots at Walsingham station and Wroxham station.

- Leek and Manifold tank 2-6-2 "Mark Timothy"
Ok so the next part is a bit of an honest talk so you don't have to read but it concerns the future of this channel.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Recently, ive been having a lot of thought into this channel and where it want it to take me. Ive been making railway related content over many channels for the past 8 years and my lifelong interest has been focused almost solely on railways. If you know me well youll understand that i have come out of school and had to sit some intense examinations over the last 2-3 months, hence the lack of uploads.
The past few months have been ridiculously important to me and what kind of person i am. The lack of attention for this channel has allowed to me grow socially and this year experience and do things new. Now without getting too personal as i like to keep my identity rather unknown but i feel like in the stage of life i am now, the channel has become a set-back.
I came to the realization that maybe my interest in trains is dying or at least become more secondary in the wake of other things. I havent been able to take true pride and have fun filming videos for a very long time now. I enjoy editing and thumbnail creation although my freetime is very reduced and thus they suffer. Whilst ill be forever grateful in this channel introducing me towards a career in filmography, what im doing here is going nowhere
And so i bring to my final point. Whats the point in having a hobby if you dont find it enjoyable. Im not saying goodbye to the channel and those who watch and appreciate my work, its just that if im not happy, theres no point. Being a perfectionist i fall into the trap of the "perfect shot" and i feel i cant do this any longer. Live is bigger now, i shouldnt be spending my time in a field waiting 2 hours for a standard 4.
I will always love trains, its just the motivation for the channel has hit rock bottom.
Though i doubt ill quit, dont expect much from me from here on out. You guys who watch my videos are amazing, im sorry its going to be this way.
Matt from MI Rail.

Hi Matt, having read the above I would just like to wish you well with your exam results and whichever direction your future takes you. If you feel the need to give it a break it's what you must do and you're young enough to pick it up again as and when it suits. If you enjoy videoing but railways don't hold the same appeal try other subjects (with a new channel name) which might be less demanding or working to a timescale...... I know what you mean!! Good luck anyway. Coincidentally I was in Norfolk at the MNR & NNR (Sun to Tue) but no time for these two NG lines as I covered them back in 2015. All the best, Brian.
