Bureaucracy always tends towards aristocracy. Still, it might be an upside that this will probably trigger a return to classical marxism and result in their being the first against the wall. However, it's not that they show no humility, so much as it's that there is no real and practical recourse for the citizen who suffers loss at their hands.

People really should be ‘going after them’ and definitely not their kids. Both sides need to play the ball, not the man. Then there’s no way for them use distraction tactics that takes the spotlight off their crazy policies. We need the police’s to fail under their own weight.
