In the late 70s, here in North Texas, there were bus loads of hippies that refered to themselves as the"Moonies". They were traveling thru here. Some did stop and hang in our small town, for about a week. Basically just trying to recruit new "members".

If it's a cult, it's not Christian. This sounds a lot more like propaganda than actual facts. Christian and Cult isn't a possible combination, if it's a cult it's no longer Christian. Speak properly, it's OK to be silly and joke around but this is people's faith, it means a lot to over a billion people.
I think he confused the father Moon with his son. His son started his own church where he literally wears a crown made of bullets and hold guns during sermon.
