The way Adam handled Makayla to make sure she wasn't too afraid was amazing. He was focused and the acting was just amazing. I truly love this show so much for the stories they tell.

Obviously I agree with everyone about how phenomenal Burgess portrayed this scene. Fantastic acting. HOWEVER - Adam deserves some credit as well. His emption at the came off as extremely genuine. His body language and demeanor were just as Fantastic

That's why I loved both of these characters and actors. They have everything down to a tee and they work together to figure out their scenes together also as a couple or individuals they shine.

I have severe ptsd, have had it 11+ years. I’ve done a lot of therapy, take meds and have a service dog. I don’t have these kinds of flashbacks as often as I used to but Kim portrays them incredibly well. To me it didn’t feel like mockery as some portrayals of mental health episodes can feel on tv. I have so much respect for her to be able to do this intense emotional scene. And Adam was excellent also. Overall just an amazing scene. Keep up the good work you guys and thank you for showing an accurate portrayal of how difficult and real ptsd is

The thing that makes it so real is that this happened at home. She works all day in situations where she could get shot but it’s at home were she feels the most safe that it would effect her the most. It honestly just sad.

Marina was perfect in this episode, as it always is! She rocks. I felt Kim’s fear, despair and pain. What an amazing actress! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Adam’s despair not knowing what to do to help was also very essential for the realism of the scene. I was very emotional with the whole episode. I’m glad Kim finally accepted help.💛

The way Makayla was watching something on the tv, then Kim took over, this shows how much of a caring, lovely mom Kim is, and when Makayla called out for her mom, was just so cute!

In this episode, it hurt me a lot to see Kim suffer, Adam always supporting her, although he didn't know how, but he is always there for her. Marina as always a wonderful performance. ❤ 👏🏻

Kim and Adam were both awesome ❤ Kims performance was top notch & Adams reaction, facial expression truly shows how scared he was & again-how much he loved her. I love everyone on the show, but BURZEK is my favorite. I hope the writers/producers keep their family together coz it's pretty obvious how much fans love BURZEKAYLA !!! ❤️

@@BooneErica It's unrealistic that they all suffer from it cause following scientists some people are more or less receptive when it comes to PTSD. So it would be a big coincidence if 3 people with the same genetic preposition come together and all get ptsd.

I get so angry when I see this pretty, default misrepresentation of a real issue, it's dry,dramatic and not how it feels and of course it's cushioned by someone ,"doing the right thing",and the person can of course just snap out of it at will and communicate. Stare into the distance,focus all your energy on loud and fake hyperventilation and job done ? You are traumatised

@@busblu1475 PTSD is more than just occasional nightmares and a panic attack is not “just feeling fear”. If they were then most kids (maybe most people in general) would have PTSD and everyone would be having panic attacks as soon as they feel fear about anything

Don’t come here saying that “you just feel fear” because this portrayal of a panic attack (Burgess in the video) is what they are like. Would you go up to someone in the middle of a panic attack and say it’s not like that because they “just feel fear”? Panic attacks are *exactly* like that. PTSD is *exactly* like this. There’s a difference between having nightmares and having PTSD, and there’s a difference between feeling fear and having a panic attack
