Heartbreaking to see this man's broken heart. I can imagine how defiled and scared his family feels. It's an awful shame this goes on. Hope this cowardly criminal is caught quickly and punished. I greatly admire how tidy her house was, though.

That’s horrible ain’t that hard to fill out a job application , God bless this family sorry u guys had to go threw that. Better surveillance and fire power
I don't think he is scarred of the criminal, he is saddened that fear and the lost of feeling safe is now damaging his marriage, in my opinion ofcourse
I stood behind my door with rifle in hand, watching a guy poke around my front door. Unfortunately he didn’t break in. I live in Summerlin and you California transfers need to adopt that killer mindset.
I told my wife if she ever encounter a burglar inside our house, its an open season in any season. She is trained to use her fire arm and we go shooting every couple of months at the range. Its a crazy world we live in folks. The security cameras and cops are not going to save your life when seconds matter. Thieves value your possession more than their lives so why should you value their life more than your possessions.
Economy collapse and civil war is coming over us. (2020/2070) Be prepare for the beginnings of the new Atlantis of Francis Bacon in United State of America (FISH-AMORC)
Cameras do nothing but record the crime. Get 2 police trained either German shepherds or Dobermans and let the cameras roll. Make sure they are extra bitey.
Summerlin is next to ghetto. That's why no matter how they try to promote Summerlin, it will never be the same as Henderson. It's good for the clueless but not if you're familiar with Vegas valley landscape and its ghettos.
Screw the cameras and screw the aesthetics. I will be barring up the windows and doors. I don't care if it's an eyesore to my neighbors. There is a reason why bad neighborhoods have houses with barred windows and doors, it is cause they work at deterring burglars.
@@ddhh1270 So you're telling me crooks rather cut off bars instead of going for a house without bars? I don't see the efficiency in cutting bars at night while waking up the neighbors.
homes should be built standard with security roll down shutters...many places in Europe have them as a normal thing. Not sure why Americans have never been interested in that type of security...it works and would greatly reduce burglary rates. There's only so much a camera can do or even a good lock on a door, esp. sliding patio doors which are a joke from security standpoint. The main goal should be to keep the evil doers OUT and not many people really have anything on their home to do that. And a gun does you no good when you're not home to stop the burglar.
If she didn’t have ring alert the wife and the daughters could have become a grim statistic. Neighborhoods have changed. Please move your family to safety and teach them to shoot. They don’t need to be victims.

Have your guns ready at any time. Invest in a good security system. Have a good healthy relation with your neighbors. And get into GOA or USCCA. Hope for the best and be ready for the worst. One of the most important things to remember: when you have seconds, police is 5 minutes away ( in a lucky case).
All those security systems suck ass I got a hundred pound security system that trained in protecting and attacking intruders here a big dog behind a door they dont target it for the obvious of not getting mauled wasting your money on security systems are pointless especially when you live far in those areas where it usually takes 30 minutes for the cops to arrive might aswell bring cigarettes and gator aid because the robbers are gonna be worn out from stealing all my stuff
@Jose Maldonado Explain what a "not very free state" is? What freedoms do citizens who are *legally* permitted to own a gun not have? And I do live in a castle doctrine state.
The best tech is NOT WIRELESS, especially Ring and Nest. If I can't brute force it in 60 seconds and gain access to your network I can cut it's signal for any duration. That poor dude! He has to feel violated. Nothing worse than a thief being inside your domain! Have your DVR ghost itself to another hiden device or cage in the attic depending on your outside temps.
All security devices use the Internet, wired and wireless. You can connect a wireless camera to POE just like a wired camera. I have had a much better experience with wireless security cameras as opposed to wired.
@@sneat2028 No, actually they go into a LAN! That LAN can power the device with backup using a UPS. I am a network engineer and contract with the US gov and focus on full disaster redundancy and recovery. Anything wireless is pseudo-security.
@@ryanreedgibson "I am a network engineer and contract with the US gov and focus on full disaster". Yeah, *Suuurrre* you are. And I am Batman! Some WiFi cameras can be powered by POE and utilize an NVR. Reolink cameras can, there are work arounds for Nest and Ring. Wireless cameras have an advantage especially those that run on a battery. Also, The base station for a wireless security system has cellular back up.
Bars will only make the houses and neighborhoods look ghetto. Just go to north Las Vegas, and you’ll see why. That will only get ghetto, criminals people to notice the areas
When aren't there burglaries anywhere in Las Vegas? I lived there for 9 years, in an upscale neighborhood and was robbed twice. Happens all the time. It's the nature of the beast (Las Vegas).
Also noticed at the victims home has no other security on the windows or doors. Get a security door or 2 full trained attacked dogs and get your CCW. people are getting too comfortable, the best offense is defense.
HOA may not allow security door if it's deeemed an eye sore. Summerlin is next to ghetto. That area will always be prone to target by career criminals.
@@valerieneal2747 I'm a Henderson resident for almost 18 years. When I look at Summerlin, that's what I see. A playing upscale neighborhood next to Vegas ghetto.
I bought a ring system for my place and I'm happy I did. Just being able to look in on my dog is nice and it all uploads to the cloud so no worries about safegaurding recorders. I mainly got it because I'm suspicious of the new property manager but it does come with added perks.
If he never thought he was gonna be burglarized why did he have cameras set up inside his house? That's exactly why you would have cameras inside your house....
We need not to say who ,we know who is doing all this thuggin ,you know where this is going ,well my idea is an eye for an eye ,start rolling heads and crime wont be a subject anymore period ,make the fn law ?
It would allow for you to call the police while you're 20-30 minutes away. It would allow for you to tell the other members of the family (wife, kids) to stay away from the house. Thing is he's having a single camera as i see recording the event, and i don't see recordings from outside of the house.
@@yunggoosbumps215 did it prevent the crime? Still got robbed, still got traumatized. People put in cameras and think it prevents something. It doesn't. @@mrjackdaniels0309 I agree. I just found it odd that they use this video to promote cameras knowing they didn't prevent the guy, catch the guy, etc. Big dogs, a laminated sliding glass door, Shooting these people in the face usually stops these crimes.
In a state where it’s legal to shoot people who break into your house, would it be legal to set up a remote control gun so you could shoot them if they were in your house even if you were not home?
By experience, a LOUD ALARM make them fly away. Cameras w/sound recording out of reach _(voice is the equivalent of a fingerprint)._ Inside your house : tear gas linked to movement detectors. In France guns are prohibited by laws, so we get creative 😁

I've seen all different types of security systems being used on homes in this city, I like the hard wired ones like what they use at commercial esgablismemts because they can blend into the home easier and won't be spotted as easily. Honestly the level of protection mixed with paranoia could trigger one to buy multiple brands and set them up beside each other, just in case one fails. Ring isn't 100% reliant on wifi if you have the right plan, but there's many similar companies out there running off of 4g LTE
