Happy with my decision buying vitz instead of picanto. Now I can say even a 6 years old model vitz is better than 2022 picanto because mine is giving me 14.5 in city with ac Alhamdulillah
Which vitz generation do u own? how easily can you get spare parts? How frequently vitz need maintenance? What parts you have changed on vitz due to maintenance?

Was looking for an A/T, Cultus comes with an AGS technology having so many consequences associated with it. 2. Was looking for a brand new car rather than some used car where I had to spend 1-2 lakhs for its initial maintenance (all oil changes, suspension work, tyre changes depending upon the condition) right after the purchase. 3. Was looking “Peace of Mind” which doesn’t come if you buy a used car from the market. 4. Above all “Time” - I had no time to go to the dealers/sellers and spend a month of two in search of a vehicle which I was going to drive for the next few years (still not being sure that whether it would be good enough or not). Referring to Elon Musk here “Time is the ultimate currency.
@@ammarhasan5203 AGS is actually designed to make fuel efficient. Although Automatic is more convenient to drive. Secondly in this segment there is no value for money car. I would have rather buy JDM. But i think Hassan Nisar priority must be Pak made so he bought it.
My Picanto AT gives the same average. 11 or 12 on the in-built meter, which means an average of 8-9 at most. No complaints with the car other than fuel average, which is pathetic. (Using PSO super. Yuck fuel.) No sounds from radiator. No known faults. Only down-side is poor fuel efficiency. October 2022 update: If anyone is interested - I changed fuel from PSO to Attock (company operated). Also cleaned the throttle. Now the car is giving me 12-13. I cannot believe it! Finally.
Fuel average+ Expensive parts and work if you face any issue, Suzuki Cultus is best option I think than picanto, in comfort, fuel economy, easily available parts
Picanto is actually more comfortable to drive then cultus. It makes u feel like VIP when driving. Overall Suzuki cultus built quality as well as comfort are extremely poor. It reminds u that Cultus Clearly, was manufactured in Pakistan, and doesn’t live up to the international standards as well.
I have Kia Picanto automatic 2020 model. I was getting 12 km/l in city. Then I saw videos on how to increase fuel average. I stated using high octane and kept my air filters clean. NowI get 13-15 fuel average in city. It really depends on how you drive it. It looks like the driver is a youngster and drives on heavy foot which would give bad economy in any car. Fuel average isn't the only thing I see while buying a car. There are lots of factors including engine, suspension, AC, transmission etc. Which the car passes with flying colours.... It is an excellent, powerful, bump proof car 🚗
I have vitz and i drive it with full heavy foot and getting 12km per liter in city and on motorway 20 with ac and with light foot it gives me 14to15 on city
Its a pity Kia is selling picanto a/t at around 3.2 million now. Vehicle import was banned in favour of domestic production and this is what they are doing importing ckd kits for assembling, causing huge foreign exchange losses and plundering the public. Its better to allow imports in a limited no or make it mandatory for all manufacturers to atleast take the production cycle to 80% mark for local manufacturing. Make strict laws for pricing policy and make for them essential to float their shares in market with general public as majority group. Impossible for a middle man to even think of buying a car. :(
Don’t feel so pity, about it it’s not Kia’s fault that there selling picanto at around 3.2 million in Pakistan, the country’s tax are extremely high. Thanks to the government u voted.
@@umer2877 Because the Pakistani government tax the automotive industry heavily, while only a very small number of Pakistanis pay their taxes voluntary, the government collects taxes through such means. Same reason is the cause of fuel prices hike and telecom taxation beside many other direct tax collection, which is definitely misused/overused by the Pakistani government, but that's a different topic.

@@skhurshid248 It doesn't matter whether it's expensive or not. Overall, you're saving money. There's a video on Pakwheels about this topic. Due to better fuel quality, you get better fuel average which in long term saves you more money than spending less on low quality petrol, + higher quality petrol keeps your engine clean and its overall health improves resulting in less mechanical issues.
Suzuki alto vxl is best option in hatchbacks in Pakistan as one expects good fuel avg on priority from a hatch back and when u go up then no point of buying a hatchback as u will get good fuel efficient sedans like city, yaris, alsvin which has almost same avg as picanto, vitz etc. Whereas Japanese 660cc cars r not in comparison as they have no acter sales network and parts availability in long term. Plus Alto Vxl ags has manual option as well which is great feature for expert drivers who oftenly want to use gears as per their choice.
Bought 15000 driven 2020 Picanto in 2.6Mn. Comfortable drive. Good leg space. Soft steering maneuvering, Avg 16 per KM, softly driven. No noise. Far better drive than Cultus & specially Alto the disposeable car.
Very nice review. Now that everyone will be more aware of the fuel efficiency issue less people will opt to buy it which is sad. It looks good on road.
the only reason people buy small cars is due to their fuel efficiency and if a car thats already overpriced doesnt do even that then there is no reason left to buy this
Rear leg space is more than enough....today I slide driving seat upto max limit but still its easy to sit on back seats...nd if u drive car at normal position of driving seat then space become even more spacious....
i have a manual picanto and i am getting 17 to 18 km on long with AC and in city i am getting 15 to 16 Km which is good, I haven't had any idea about automatic but manual has good fuel average
Im a picanto user ... In my experience jo manual users hen unk lye agr city me chalni he to 31psi pressure rpm2500 se upr na rkhen or jahan gari stop ho waha ac off krden ... Long k uper 32psi pressure 2200-2300rpm speed 70-80km/h ... I bet apki feul efficiency bht had tk increase kry gi... Meri is waqt 16-17 de rhi he (manual varient)
Picanto gives fuel average better around 14 to 15 / ltr within city if u mix regular fuel with high octane 5 ltr in full tank it will cost around 150 to 200 per tank extra as difference between regular and high octane is generally around 30 to 40 rupees. Its my personal experience every one facing problem with fuel average in picanto must try this.

It totally depends on how light your foot is, my Picanto M/T is giving me 18 without AC and 15 with AC within City Driving, and 18 with AC and 22 without AC on long driving *Tank Average*. Using Normal Fuel.
Agar 1500-2000 pr rakh ke chalao to asani se 7.5-8.5L/100km average ati ha. Agar bohat rush ya traffic wali jagah ha jaha bar bar rukna phrta to phr 9-10L/100km ati ha avg. Not best but comparing build quality and full automatic transmission better than AGS in my opinion.
The Kia meter shows L/100KM not KM/L. Most people in Pakistan get confused with it. At the moment where you have shown the average, it says 9.8 means, 9.8l of fuel is being used on every 100km run. In other words, it's giving you the average of 10.2.
We had manual picanto and it gave good fuel avg and had good pickup also... Enjoyed it and it also has heated side mirrors which is quite useful in winters or rainy weather...

It would be fault with automatic variant , we have Kia Picanto MT model 2019 and we got 14/16 in city and 18/20 on highway. Even once I was traveling from Lahore to South Punjab through GT Road and I was alone , I even got 22/23 average per litter. I am totally satisfied with my car. There may be issue with some batches of Picanto.....

The best fuel economic cars in pakistan is Suzuki cultus MT new model Suzuki wagonR MT new models You can easily get 16/17 kilometer in 1 liter in city normal drive ✔️
In the city, it doesn't matter what car it is and how much is maintained, you'll get around 10~13 km/l, especially in Karachi's traffic, but you're sure going to get a lot better on the highway. The owner should be happy with Kia Picanto because it's a far, FAR better choice than Mira or any Kei cars. And if you buy a Kei car, you'll be that guy who has a Kei car. You'll never get respected owning those. If something goes wrong, it will be extremely expensive to fix. In the end, they say, "I wish I never bought this car." That sums up why Kei drivers are always furious.
he is saying that he is getting 9km per liter on average but the meter is showing 9.8/100 which is equal to 10.20. so Jahalat hy logon mai abi b.and the position of the gear lever is on D3 which means the car will not go into the ECO mode and you cant get a better fuel average. isko Mehran he deni chahye this. isko CVT car dena maa baap ka kasoor hy or KIA ko is family py case karna chahye. hahahaha.
I will rate kia after sales service 10 out of -10 because i go for warranty claim of horn of kia sportage they didnt response well and they give us our claim after 8 months.it is very shameful for them
Haha... it shows liters per 100kms so convert the readings by dividing it by 100... it has good average above 12kms on auto and around 15kms on liters... you people can discuss plastic n cup holders only

Cultus is very much better. It gives 14-15 km/l in city with AC and 17-18 on highway with AC. Due to rising fuel prices, cultus is best option. No one buys a small hatch back for bad fuel efficiency
Your editor can't even put a small disclaimer somewhere on the side about the updated prices? Now people who don't know its actual price will think that it starts from 27 lacs, which it doesn't, it starts from 31 lacs now.
