This one really freaked me out, the whole show feels like it’s just gonna get worse for the girls, and I’m glad they make little details like this to distort the feeling of the show in a whole different level of anxiety.
I think after all they have done in the past and are still doing in the present, there is no happy ending for the majority of the cast, if not all. You don't just get to come back from homicide cannibalism.
I feel like the intro will get more and more remixed and distorted as the series goes on, symbolizing the deterioration of the girls sanity both in the past and present.
It was such a smart decision to play a slowed reverb for this title sequence alone. I always love hearing the song but it wouldn’t have been pleasant to hear it right after what we saw on that episode :’( props to whoever made that decision
