memories of going to a open building (warehouse)in north london, getting lost & high on mandy and listening to this full vols on my big and bassiiii headphones on the night bus back in 2008.. probably does not seem much to most people ,but it was a great moment.
Hayley Morgan had the same experience going home to stepney green on the underground peaking on molly i remember rewinding the hell out of this with my eyes closed dancing on a packed tube.
4am doing a line off my boy's hard dick at my cousins house. can hear my cousin having sex with her bf so we put burial to cover the sound. i fall sleep while my man does me
i hope Burial is remembered in the future and people talk about him like they do The Beatles, Led Zepplin and so on...he really deserves it. i mean, these aren't just tunes...this is William Beven as audio...he puts a lot of love into what he does and i think that's why we all appreciate what he does...so flawlessly!! It's because he's an honest guy...with a heart...no doubt sensitive and suffering from a heavy thinking head like us...but he's human...not a celebrity and i think that's why he means so much to me. he just travels the world and writes a tune here and there to live off...so much respect and love for who he is and what he does without the need for the attention...rare!! love to you all x x x
@@am5790 LSG-Netherworld( vinylcut) 😉, in case you didnt know that one . Its a track from 96, still if released today....my bett is the roof goes of. A real hard/energy trance one. But thete are so many forgotten gems. Nice you mention this btw💎
south africa, warm relaxed day 04:38 pm, blazed. lying on my bed, window open. silent fan breezing over me. bass rattling my windows, vibrations throughout.
One of the only records Burial ever produced on a sequencer. Everything else was done messily on audio editing software and still came out beautiful. Burial is one of my favorite artists of all time, probably the most original of our time.
9: Why didn't you use a sequencer on the album? Burial: I tried. I did one tune before. . .Unite. hyperdubrecords.blogspot.fi/2007/10/burial-untrue-november-2007.html
He used soundforge for all of his track. This is the only track where he used a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). Its unbelievable, sampling like that is much harder that making music on FL Studio, ableton etc
im so upset how on earth i missed this i just dicover them lately because they did a collaboration with massive attack ...but better late then never lol
Damn, about 2 years after finding Untrue, I'm just now hearing this for the first time. This song is absolutely incredible. The atmosphere, the vibe, the space it puts me in.... indescribable.
The song that led the way for me into the world of Burial. A true artist who creates soundscapes with sounds that are mixed, manipulated and prepared like a painter's oil paint on a palette.
This is The only work he did on D.A.W.( digital audio workstation) wich makes it a pretty unique work. thats why it sounds so clean , if you wil. most of the things he does is sort of raw editing , and many times just 1 piece of a lyric,or song, he wil pull a mastwrpiece out of it. absolute sound master this guy
This tune is music of your emotions. It touches soul, heart and our life. It reflects in what was passed, what will be in the future, and the most important what is happening now.
Listening to this while smoking a joint.... After a zoom meeting with my group partners. They arent doing shit for the data procurement/integration/manipulation/analysis/visualization but they have so many ideas how I can make it better! In essence this song is to cope... and cope I will
Waking up from a sleep that feels like forever. Opening your curtains from your room in a sky rise building that goes on forever. Looking down on London. The sky has a greyish glow.
I was listening to this song in my computer, very deep... and then, I wondered what kind of comments, people could left on it. So I enter in this video... and with your comment and the previous one now I'm leaving.... very happy. :)
Love you forever Alex ♥️ Thank you for introducing me to this amazing piece of music back in 2016. I still have our photo we took on top of that hill in April at sunrise. Some of my happiest memories have been with you. I hope you are happy wherever you are and with whomever, because you deserve it ♥️
Been knowing about Burial and share plenty of memories... This is however first time I hear this track - And it's perfect in the wake of what was 2020. It's a glorious new year!
unite as the human race, unite as the people, viva la worldwide revolution,.a world of true justice is coming with us whe we step into action together.the time is now.
i know what you're saying man, most of my producing is inspired by those 3 guys. but, all of those guys' production is very crisp and light, whereas burial's is very deep and earthy, and completely unique which is why people make such a big deal over him, because there's no one else like him. also the fact that a lot of people (including me) consider him an absolute genius. each to their own though eh, though i'd much rather sit and listen to burial than synkro, indigo or phaeleh 日本語に訳してください。
Canberra 2 Am Mt Ainslie Sitting on the front of my whip looking at my home Blunt in fingers Crew Bouncing to this around the back of the car Life is bliss.....
California 5:19am Can't sleep Gonna try one more time to get rid of him I keep thinkin' I'm hearing him creepin' around outside my window Listening to Burial... The poetry of danger And the danger of poetry...
Lukas Gebhart actually, he admitted this is one of the very few times hes used sequencers to create a tune! i think this and lambeth are the only ones of his that arent made up completely of samples.
I wouldn't say it's quantised. Listen to the last part off the track where the bass plays without drums. It's sound pretty offbeat. But it's sounds great together with the drums. So i'm guessing the drums aren't quantised either.
St. Louis Late spring night you can smell the humidity in the air drowning in the fires of life meditating to the rhythm of silence clears my head hopeful I look to follow the sun to a new day to see what there is to find

The rain is coming down here. It's not going to stop. Give it time. Let's go, don't stop. Keep running, i always feel like running. I don't know where i am any more. Seven more tries until i forget to fail. It grows dark. We grow dark. I think I've found it.
