They should have offered different models, so if you have more money - you get taller towers or more of them, that way other's would envy at least a bit. But considering the type of people who would actually buy this, they would all probably opt in for the most expensive version.
On its own the building or mini castle is amazing. But cloned like this with no grass or trees and no design into the landscape or having spaces it look an absolute disaster on a concrete jungle!
What a shame, such a beautiful landscape ruined by these fake lookalike castles. Developer must be reliving his acid trip. This is not prestige nor gorgeous, this is a nightmare! How do I know which house is mine?

over-run plants will not happen in 10 year unfortunately. it takes very long time for plants and habitation to took place in deserted area with concrete - breathless soil:(
The saddest castles ever built. Whoever developed this has absolutely no concept of urban planning. It looks like a refugee camp where the tents happen to be castles.

Why would you build an American styled MacMansion Suburb in the middle of nowhere, in Turkey? There's so many things wrong with this. Was this some money laundering thing? Or just plain incompetence? The houses are too close together, way too large, way too the same.

Although having bribed the permissions they could've just built something actually decent and profitable. Then again it would've cost more to build with correct seismic resistance, proper rebar and design work and drainage and roads and services and proper finishes. 100% a scam

I think it is an interesting concept. However, I believe that if they finish the project, they should allow the residents to customize their homes to make them all different, with different decorating and landscaping, and different architectural appointments. That way it wouldn't be such a monotonous scenery. It's probably still better than rows of gigantic block-like apartment buildings.

This video was filmed about a year ago, and as of December 2019, nearly 600 were sold and completed, before the developer filed for bankruptcy. The prices were as low as $370,000 which would barely get a 2 bedroom condo in Washington DC. It's expected that construction will be completed on remaining homes by close of 2019, and these are mostly Masonry homes, much better than wood home new construction in North America. I would love to retire to a place like this, with winter skiing a mile away, and modern convienances.
Who would wanna live in crap like that? Especially for 500,000 dollars, which is for what one of the houses goes for - and it is in Turkey! Such a waste of beautiful valley with beautiful nature!

I think the owners are very nice and wonderful .siz reviews for turkey and you hate to look back in disgust bakıyorsunuz.2020 Turkey will begin this project will be finished in two years at this Projekte and then you will see that the beauty of the porogen. Monumental Folly. It's worse than anything I've seen in the USA, and that's saying something. At least they're close together so the bulldozers won't have far to drive between knockdowns.
It is kind of a caricature of today's state of housing...all those houses in the suburbs trying to be unique but end up getting lost in the bulk...we need CHANGE on so many levels but first let's start with our mindset!
I don't understand all the hatred in these comments. The same repeated building looks weird to me but I suppose that makes them cheap and easy to construct. Will this project supply cheap and affordable housing for a lot of people? If it does and the eventual owners are happy, I don't understand the problem. I've seen worse in first world cities with huge towers crammed with tiny apartments.
Cheap and afforable housing? These were aimed at the luxury market, specifically wealthy overseas investors from the gulf. Now why the hell would anyone with half a million dollars to spare and half a brain, spend it on what looks like some strange disney castle council housing estate in the back arse of nowhere?
The real story is that these weren't necessarily built of greed or corruption but out of demand. They were planned & built strictly as 2nd homes & tourist properties (Air BnB, etc) and had actually sold around 300 of the 600-ish castles before running out of money. The reason they ran out of money is because local folks decided (well after the plans were approved & building had commenced) to sue the developers for chopping down trees. Sure that sucks but the people that sued live in the same area where they chopped down trees to build their communities too....so, total Karen move. Anyway, had the developers not had to pour money into fighting these people's & other "greedy" developers' lawsuits, this community would've been completed & likely dumped millions of dollars into the surrounding communities. These houses ran from $370-500k each so no doubt would've had owners & visitors spending plenty of cash in regional stores & restaurants. I'm not defending any of this but people should know there are actually 2 sides to ALL stories.
...not only that every house is the same, they are all huge which makes them harder to sell. Without variability in design there is really nothing much customer can choose from except the overbuilt location. Investor obviously saved a lot of money by copying the same desing over and over...:/
