@@burlingtonhistoryminutes1330I do find them very interesting. It's fascinating how much the waterfront and the downtown core have changed. Personally I prefer how it used to be, as I do for most places and things. 😂 Thank you again.

Sure is a ton of history all the way down by Burloak as well. Families, farms, even a road house and motel! Love the channel but haven’t seen much easy of Guelph line. Awesome footage.

Thanks for you nice comments. There is a lot of history along the lake to east but for my videos it is a question of images I have or can access. I have lots of images of the Pig and Whistle and some of Pine Cove area but that's about it. If you have some images of that area I could restore and use please let me know at historypix@cogeco.ca . Thank you David

There was a time when the public boat launch at the Canoe club was the place to watch the boats come and go.

The park was so much better back then with that water where there is now grass. Looked so beautiful. And no highrises, Spencer Smith would be shocked being in the constant shadows of these buildings now if he stood downtown.

So, Spencer Smith Park is largely made up of reclaimed land? I did not know that. Thank you for this. ☮

I’m really interested in getting hard copies of 1:03 to 1:10 arial shot of Burlington Ave. where can I get them?

Good day David, thanks for watching my videos on Burlington. The image you are looking for is in my collection. What size of image you require will determine cost to print etc. Let me know what size you are wanting. Note to that the bigger the image the less sharp the image becomes. These are old images on taken on old cameras. Let me know on historypix@cogeco.ca
