Thank you for the video. V helpful. I got one of mine switched out super easy but can’t get the passenger vent off for some reason. Will try again tomorrow.

yeah i noticed just stick the trim tool in far enough to get a bit of grip and then pull towards you. A lot of people say to pull up but that was not the experience i had.

very helpful video. I am planning to do the same swap on my 2020 Macan base with Bose audio. I have read that Burm is a drop-in replacement with the small tab removal. One question: in other posts I read that you need to install a capacitor to protect the new tweeter, but you did not seem to have that issue. Any thoughts on this?

I have read that some people decided to do the capacitor but from what i've seens its more a practice in caution than anything else. I havnt had any issues so far and the drop in tweeters have been great.

@@Xxyion86 I did the swap about 10 days ago and did not put a capacitor on. So far so good. I am not babying the speakers at all. Thanks for the video

i chose the base sound system with the intention of upgrading it myself. Nothing against the speaker system but it was planned.

Have you considered the Demann short ratio gears? The 718 GT4 with Demann short gears is my #1 dream car. Matt Farah of the smoking tire raves and raves about it, saying he'd take the short ratios even over the 4.5 engine.

I think its more worthwhile if you have a manual transmission. I find the PDK honestly really really good with its ratios and not too long at all.
