It was. After the tour Mike, Stu, Jamie and Luke went back to the US, while Lee and Ian stayed in the UK. Lee and Ian met up in December to film a music video but the rest of the band stayed in the states. Obviously the music video never got released. It sucks so much seeing this because Ian was on fire and back to true form. Its the best LP were in a long time, in my opinion. One thing that sticks out to me in the performance is when he says "Last chance to dance" and then pauses for a while before saying "until next time" and then his demeaner seems to change for a few seconds. It makes me wonder whether he was fully aware his world was about to come crashing down and this was very likely the last performance ever. But then I also believe he also thought he'd never be caught. But he had his laptop confiscated by this point so he must have been aware that this is it.
@@DoodlesGaming I´ve read a comment by someone else that said something along the lines of that: Ian had gotten arrested for the second time about a week before this show took place. The rest of the band wanted to play some news songs at this show, but he wanted to play their greatest hits instead. So yeah, it sounds like he most likely knew that would be the last chance to ever play them live. Then about 5 weeks later he got arrested for the third and the final time.
@@nicolaevic He was arrested on drug charges, I can't remember the drugs but on the basis of that being all he'd done it wouldn't have been too serious, especially someone of his fame in his hometown, probably a fine and a stint in rehab. And he seemed to be doing better with the drugs after the Warped Tour so they probably weren't concerned, they were meant to go to Russia in December but canceled because Ian wasn't allowed to leave the country. They didn't expect what was to come.
@@DoodlesGaming Ian was initially arrested on suspicions of drug smuggling (he was bringing drugs with him from US to UK) - that's already pretty serious and the band were well aware of his drug use, to the point that he missed one show on the Warped Tour in the US a few months prior to this. I'm assuming by that time Ian had an idea that police would eventually catch on to his real far more heinous guilty pleasure.
