Story:
It starts out with Beetle after he’s succeeded in collecting enough souls to breach the Cloud Kingdom, basically just doing his own little groove. Then it switches to Miles, that’s who Beetle was before he died. It shows his complicated relationship with his older brother, the way he was looked down apon. Flipping to the next scene, Harlan attacks Miles after his little brother walks in on him killing someone to try and silence him. Miles is easily pinned against a tree and is about to be killed when he frantically kicks up with his back paws, blinding his brother. When he tries to escape onto the frozen lake, it breaks beneath him and he drowns. His older brother is painted as a hero, having twisted the story to paint Miles as a serial killer hence the statue of Harlan in the first scenes.
