Target Audience: Children’s National Registered Nurses
Objectives:
1.) Understand burn assessment, including recognizing burn degrees, calculating TBSA, and the importance of post-debridement photos
2.) Learn about burn debridement, including indications, materials used, personnel involved, and the role of ED providers.
3.) Gain knowledge of burn dressing selection and care, including types of dressings, considerations for different body areas, and resources for home care
Successful Completion:
1.) View entire session
2.) Complete online post-test/evaluation and attestation of completion.
CNEs will only be eligible for a two-year period from the original air date. (Expiration date: 04/02/2026)
CNE: 0.50 hours Trauma Hour(s): 0.50 Burn Hour(s): 0.50
