EX08 has a high chance of bringing gallantmon X, and medieval gallantmon ace. BT19 is definitely bringing a whole new line, likely including wargrowlmon ace and a new searcher takato. We may also get a new calumon. Megidramon ace is probably the coolest ace ever announced. gallantmon was my first deck, so I’m so happy to get so much new support!
EX2 Megidra is slept on, on deletion play a guil and takato. if its the new takato end of turn lets you use the growl and war growl from the megidra stack that was just deleted to go into a free gallant.
It's great when you get it of. But these days so many things Bounce, Bottom deck or De-digivolve that you don't get it as much as you did in the past. Still good when you get it off. The mill sees more use than its On Deletion these days
Tbh, it is way better than I expected. Yesterday i brought it for the 1st time to my local's tournament and it went like this: 1st round gallant vs gallant 1-2 (lost) 2nd round no opponent 3rd round vs Darkknight 2-1 4th round vs armor vaccine 2-1 Top 4
I dunno. BT13 gallant imo isn’t honestly that helpful. It runs great with RK deck but otherwise I was never sold on it in gallant. The weird range that it can delete stuff is so awkward that you usually won’t be able to pop any level 6s. The potential free summon is nice but far more often you will be met with resistance so having your inherentables is better but that’s just me. I’ve had one in deck for a while and it seldom comes in handy.
@@yumijandro7761 one is fine to use but a lot of times when I’m thinking on summoning it (for free) my opponent typically doesn’t have a target over 13k . Which is usually the problem I need to get rid of. And now a days with cards that have protection / or decoy like abilities it seldom actually kills targets.
@@bauer0788 the thing is you can sometimes get it into field for merely 1 memory and go for rush, and if you got a Guilmon without rush you can also play it, evolve for the end of turn and blitz with rush to finish games. Also yeah, 1 is fine, you can also get it back from trash with blackgrowl
Question about the crimson saviour ruling. It says when your opponent's level 5 or higher digimon is played then you can digivolve into gallantmon. So the question is if a digimon digivolves into a level 5 digimon, does that still trigger?
no, played means played and digivole are two separate mechanics. When a card is played, it means its being brought to the battlefield from another area as its own digimon, not a current digimon on the battle area becoming that digimon
2 questions: 1) can this deck be any competitive? 2) how expensive is this deck approximately? I’m thinking of getting into the game and Gallant is my fav digi
I think the deck is very decent at a local level! It might be a lot tougher if you are looking to top large scale events with over 300 players. I don't have a exact calculation of how much it should cost but a quick guess would be somewhere between $80 to $130 for lowest rarity. But I always encourage anyone to play what they like to start off regardless!
It’s a very decent deck but you’ll be fighting an up hill battle compared to other top end decks. The meta is also not in a good place at the moment, but the Gallant deck is pretty fun.
The whole BT12 line is questionable at best. Literally only Growlmon and Wargrowlmon are good. BT12 Gallant is not played anymore cause it has a horrendous matchup against Magna X cause it trashes the card before checking security, the raid doesnt matter cause cause youll never get big enough stack to clear anyting, cause youre not gonna play the BT12 Guilmon cause its literally the worst searcher ever. Youre better of running ST7 Guilmons and focusing on BT17 Gallant
