The only thing that's missing is a pure copper pan or kettle. Copper transmits heat in exactly the opposite of what Khantal /nichrome metal does. Try getting an identical stainless steel water bottle and the pure copper bottle and put them in the fire simultaneously. The copper boils 20 percent quicker
Very impressive invention! However I am questioning the longevity of such a contraption. Hot carbon (ie charcoal), in this case, is a strong reducing agent . In no time the metallic bars holding the charcoal will "corrode" and you will have to buy a new one. Also, Just hope that there is NO carbon monoxide being produced. I did notice a blue flame which is indicative that the carbon monoxide is being burnt off . Frankly I wouldn't suggest taking Jikokoa inside your house for cooking. You wouldn't be able to distinguish between your guests being passed out from too much booze or CO poisoning
Where is the CO poison coming from, before you can achieve CO, you must have to greatly reduce oxygen in that atmosphere, just like when you were told to put on mask against covid, what goes on in that mask can acheive CO. BUT NEVER ON THIS CASE.

However if the need be, ensure you light it outside, then allow the charcoal to burn for a while and ensure it isn't emitting smoke then you can bring it in and open your windows. I use mine indoors sometimes especially during the raining season.
Thanks for watching. It actually depends on when you place your pot. I have noticed that anytime I don't allow the charcoal burn a while before placing my pot, it darkens it. Secondly using very good charcoal ie. Iron charcoal is key to keeping your pots clean.
This inspired me to build my own charcoal grill. I use far less charcoal than the regular way home bbq does in the UK I bypassed all the commercially available stoves because they all suffer with the same problem.. Breathing. Heat rises.. So I invented my own.
