@@kcgfy81 That's true. One of the Miami cops in the episode 'Signals and Codes' was actually a federal cop who worked for Homeland Security and he was based in Miami. His name is Lorenzo Toledo. I think he became one of those consultants for film/tv. Michael Mann brought him in to help train Colin Farrell and Jamie Fox for the Miami Vice movie.
I don't like Fiona at all. She's supposed to be an ex-IRA terrorist but outside of a firefight she acts like a damn Kardashian...give her some PTSD or something. Also how she's able to assist Mike with the spying without any intelligence training at all I call BS.
They were well developed characters until the final episode. That wasn't typical of any of them. It was all for one, one for all. That ending did not fit at all, totally changed the characters for the last episode Disappointing
Randomly stepped into this bar when I visited last year- wings were great- I started looking around and noticed "I've seen Michael Westin get in a fight here on my TV before!" 🤣🤣👍 Actually my favorite bar I visited, too.
@@ChapsShrugged Damn, I missed that one! Went last year and the only place I could find (that's still standing) was Maddies house. Fun fact, that house is on 1/3 acre, has a pool in the back, is a 6 bed 2 bath, and was appraised at 1.3 Million last year
Yeah because it's like any other job daily grind but you got to have a cleaner on call all the time and well you ether work with the government or criminal elements of some sort
Comrade has become kind of a sarcastic joke in America. Those of us referencing the Cold War usually have that word synonymous with ass hole. That’s probably what they meant.
If you watch Burn Notice enough, you'll eventually pick up on its nuances, including: lots of sarcasm. In this case, If one doesn't pick up on Michael's calling Jan "friend" being sarcasm, then one might then pick up on the translation to "asshole" as being sarcasm. That or you are now under the impression that eastern European soldiers call each other "asshole" with a straight face as a term of endearment. 🤣🤣👍
When you know about Mikes past you can sort of give him a pass on his craziness . He'd be almost impossible to have for a friend . Thank goodness for Sam Axe
See Mike these are the important things in life these are the things you miss when you're running around the world with a satellite phone and a gun hahah
I love shows about specialists helping people; - Burn Notice - Person of Interest - The A Team - Spenser For Hire - A Man Called Hawk 😊 I'm also taking suggestions for such shows
Literally speaking, yes. It’s a word quite familiar to Western cultures, so there’s no real confusion. The subtext/joke is that he’s saying it sarcastically and/or derogatorily.
It's so good. And unlike many series, I find that I can ALWAYS go back to it and STILL enjoy it. Kind of rare in a show. It's on Hulu now. I finally have the full series, so, I will also start uploading bits here and there. Send me requests! I loved 24 and Prison Break, but I can't go watch those shows again for some reason.
My girl got me into this show, so far we are on season 3 right now and I’m enjoying it. The only thing that annoys me about this show and idk why but whenever Michael’s mom appears in a scene she is always smoking and my girl is mad at me now because she never noticed until I said something 😅
Well your daughter shouldn't be watching people smoke but it's TV and you can tell her it's pretend If you're talking about a girl, you better be talking about a daughter?! Otherwise, if you're over 18 you'd better be hanging out with women. Not girls
I've been looking but can't find it...It's a good tune. The official Burn Notice soundtrack only has a handful tracks. It's unfortunate because the entire show probably showcased over a hundred songs.
the early 2000's were a strange time. we had just come off the 90's, 9/11, and patriotism was common. we hadnt been subjected to the witch trials of metoo yet, and we hadnt dealt with the gas lighting & propaganda of covid yet....it wasnt as good as the 90's or 80's, but 2000's werent bad (except for that tiny housing bubble hiccup)
"Vitaj to Miami komrad" is Czech as much as the USA is the only country in the whole world :D Komrad is used in komunist countries which today (and even back then) are Russia, that island with Kim on it and maybe one other I can't remember now. But not Czech. Which is a direct neighbor to Germany, Austria or Poland :)
The whole problem is this weird phenomenon of ' sports bars ' . Blame Hooters whatever . Whatever happened to ' dive bars ' i know , they vanished with population surge .. haha please don't be disruptive . Get overworked staffers angry and you might be amazed how they will disrupt your life . Drive safe .. love you
