In case you didn't know, I'm a 3rd year medical student and have a hobby for making free MCAT resources on RU-vid with my sister Maggie:-) I scored in the 90th percentile on my own MCAT and made all the mistakes so that you don't have to!

Hey brother, thank you for making this video. I’m about a week out from my MCAT and this video couldn’t have been made at a better time. If you can pray for me for my MCAT on May 10th and May 11th to get above a 510, that would be amazing.

Heavenly father, you are high & lifted up, you are sovereign over the Heavens & the Earth and you are the creator of everything. Lord you know the inner workings of Humans like no other so who else should we ask for knowledge, understanding, wisdom, strategy, insight & application to pursue & be successful in medicine? Lord, as your son has humbled himself by seeking for your help for his MCAT, I pray in the name of Jesus that you will touch every part of his being at this time, especially his brain that he might do exceedingly and abundantly above ALL that he could ask or think for this exam. Lord, may he be granted all knowledge and understanding in all the sciences & critical analysis/reasoning and literature just like you blessed Daniel and the Hebrew boys with. I pray that your peace that surpasses all understanding will guard his heart & mind while he studies & while he is taking the exam. Let no weapon formed against his memory & confidence prosper, and on the official test day his recall will be immaculate In Jesus name! Amen. You will kill the exam. I was supposed to test 04/12/24 but I will schedule for End of June or Early July (life is lifing) lol but God is able!!!! WE WILL become amazing Doctors.

This is what I needed 🙏🏾I’m thankful for your advice. I pushed my mcat back 3 times because of overthinking and burnout . Caught myself comparing myself to others and their journey . I love the Bible reference , it says a lot for me because I can’t take advice from just everyone sometimes . Please keep me in prayer as well .

I have had multiple experiences with burn out and what I have found is that it’s a disconnect between perceived gain and expected gain of tasks. This can be worsened by not taking care of yourself (e.g. not sleeping properly).

Thank you so much for all your videos and encouragement. I have been watching your strategy videos for a while and am getting ready to take my MCAT soon. I'm not where I would like to be yet, but I'm not where I was (thanks partially to you and your sister's channel). I recently realized that God wants us to rest as well as work hard and that there is a need for both. This video echos that. Please know I will be praying for you as you continue your challenging rotation and continue into residency. God got us this far, so He won't let us down now. Thanks again!

Even with this new confidence, I am still struggling because it feels like I should have made more progress. I am trying to ignore this feeling and just showing up each day to study! I saw your video on separating the Milesdown deck for Anki...and slowly started seeing more videos little by little. And hearing you talk about Prayer just made me so happy. You have already been a huge help with the videos I have seen and to even offer prayer to your subscribers- just lovely. I want to say thank you for all the content in helping and encouraging others on this tedious journey!! I recently was in a horrible car accident... we were hit by a drunk driver last October, and unfortunately my mother passed. This journey along with everything has been far from easy- and this is my 3rd time taking my MCAT. (I tried to improve 2nd but spent a lot of time with my mother-which I do not regret what so ever.) I have felt the pits of discouragement during this time... but yet I still continue especially with the help of positive words from helpful RU-vidrs. SO THANK YOU. Thank you for leading through the light of God, the way I aspire to do so as well. And if possible YES please, I would LOVE to be prayed over from you! ♥ :')

Love that you mentioned prayer. Reading the Bible and sitting in silence during prayer has reversed my burnout and completely changed my perspective. Please keep me in your prayers, I test in a few weeks! I will also keep you in mine!

I just started AAMC material after scoring 501 Kaplan and got a 495 yesterday and was really angry, and today turned into sadness because I realized I didn’t progress as much as I thought. I’m new ish in my journey on connecting with God and reading the Bible so you mentioning the book and chapter helps a lot relating to this, I will read that tonight.
