I'm now 74 years old and I can still clearly remember attending Steel Pulse's first concert appearance at the Dinwoodie Lounge University of Alberta campus Edmonton; and to be given the backstage privileges to hang out with the original crew from David to Brinkley R.I.P.; words cannot explain my emotions back then. I was in my early 30's Bro. Now fast forward to this unfortunate incident with The Legendary, Iconic, Steel Pulse and Burnaboy. All I will say to this is; Dennis Brown echoes: "No one man is an Island"; Bob Marley sey, Africans Unite; Burning Spear sey: "Do you remember the days of Slavery". In conclusion Bigstone; To use wire fencing to separate black against black in a black environment can only be seen as disdainful, contemptuous, derisive and outright disgrace. Reggae music and to those following into that footsteps, remember this, Reggae music came into existence to fight divisiveness, now look what's happening, shame my Brother. To the management and crew of Burnaboy and Steel Pulse, please get together, institute a dialogue for this never to happen again. This whole thing hit me like a brick and made me go back and view burner boy and steel pulse I followed from the 80 and came to the conclusion that as the result of a generation cap and as Elders have to address and teach.
The behaviour of burna Boy and his security team towards Steel Pulse was detestable and they have exposed themself as operating with a strong egotistical Babylonian vibration..Steel Pulse was the third Reggae band in Reggae History to Win a Grammy in 1987 which is 4 years before burna Boy even born and come pon earth...before that was Jimmy Cliff in 1986 and Black Uhuru the first in 1985...They achieved this at a time when musicians had to be masters of their craft to be rewarded which such an honour not like nowadays where Grammys get dish out like lollipop to anybody...Members of the Reggae fraternity need to check Burna Boy pon his action so that he can go back and check himself..He need to fix this because this has left a bitter taste in the mouth of the Reggae community because we are far from happy...When the Ego of a man becomes bigger than the man it will prove itself to be a detriment to the man himself...

In all this euphoria the promoters should be blamed . Nobody has heard the Burnaboy side which am sure he’s going to address with time . Blame the promoters as certain artist put their demands upfront before they even put pen to paper to perform in a show . I see some have gotten erratical without even knowing the full story . Does Burnaboy that locked Kingston on his Damini show and said it that Jamaica is his second home diss any Jamaican artist intentionally? I don’t think so even though I wasn’t present at the scene . This will pass and am sure by the time you hear Burnaboy’s side it would be a completely different story . I have seen comments here and some are using the RC and BC which is not called for .
