So many haters that have never even been or at least not in the last decade. Burning Man is whatever you want it to be. You're ultimately responsible for curating your own experience. I didn't party in fashion shows or at District and only went to White Ocean once and I still had a blast. You can have whatever experience you want there!

So, for those who are complaining about the "Private Jets"... that was a propeller airplane she flew in, and you can too. So many negative and crappy comments. Burning man has always been a fashion show. in the beginning they used to build runways to show off outfits .... Google has been there since the 90's, actors/rockstars have built amazing camps with their own hands. This video was beautiful. yes they made mistakes like peacocking the private jets. Sometimes the youth can only value their importance this way, materialism.... as they become older and wiser burners they will see.... perhaps they will post a video of their camp, how they gave back and created part of the community, maybe they are grill cheese camp . We don't know, they may have funded a large art project. If anything, a city is nothing without tourists. BTW, these are just videos of what this person sees . please stop the hate comments unless you were there "this year" I did not see any of this. it's a f'en city people

I thought one of the larger aspects of the burning man tradition was being out in the elements and not only enjoying the culture but the journey it is to get there and get out. So when you "Jet In" in stead of wait the 8 hour one way drive in with 6 of your friends in one vehicle i think you lose half of the experience..... This is more of a look what i did video than an eye opener on the society these people have begun to expand.

Life's a gamble, go for it. If you liked it or didn't like it at least you can say you've been there and done that and then move on or go back next year.

I'm wondering, is the music also good at Burning Man? Are is just the experience of being there and all the cool shit that makes it cool?

I was Highly Interested in coming to one of these events, I think they need to be more specific on where the ticket money goes. Somebody is getting filthy ass rich. Im talking mad money rich. Theres no vendors, You must bring everything you need to survive which is cool and fun and all. But I`ll never sink that kinda cash into a festival. To me it just looks like a huge steam punk party. I mean what started as a Pagan Ritual has been taken over into some wild fest thats fun for the whole family now. I mean years later Burning Man bought the land from Nevada. I could understand tickets being a lil something to cover the 6.5 Million but they gross on the LOW end 27560000 a year and thats a low ball park figure if everyone bought the cheapest ticket. Who is getting rich off all these peoples money.
