So this is a self imposed circumstances and this group is getting more attention than the people of Maui after the fire that took away their lives and homes. Amazing how the coverage works for rich self import people vs regular poor people that actually need help
This is a disaster! It rained so much we can't burn the statue we built. No, we aren't out of food. No, we have drinking water, someone sent a truck. No, our shelters are still intact. Yes, one person DIED. No, I don't know cause of death. 🙄
It's like that with everything "media" . The pathetic Lady Di, truly a horrendous person, was killed while her drunk driver went 100mph thorough city streets. When she died, every media outlet tried to make her into some saint. When Mother Treasa died months later, it was no big deal, hardly mentioned.
Just a lot of folks spending a ton of money to do drugs that they could have done at home. If the environmentalist road block was more successful, they could have saved everyone from all the trouble.
“festival goer and US army veteran” ok, why stop it there? Lets mention Girl Scout, James Brook Middle School Eagle, mother, daughter, sister, lover, recipient of the PTA parent of the month award
The real story, as is the case again & again lately, be prepared. Anticipate the possible scenarios and prep for it. In other words, insurance. Be your own rescue, then you are in a position to help others.
...but then it sucks because then you are in a position to help others. It's exhausting and costly. I've been in a similar situation at a similar event...just way less remote and a less harsh environment. 2000 people that are unprepared, uncomfortable, helpless, and feel like they are being held hostage. They all wanna move their vehicles but they can't. They try anyway and make everything so much worse. It's really annoying...and this is out of 50,000...I can't imagine.
@@margaretfraser9610 it's illegal to gather in such large groups and do drugs and be nude in public...or at least it used to be. Pride has become kind of like a burn held in public in highly populated areas instead of exercising their freedom away from people who do not wish to be involved.
I think the news media are the only folks who considered this a disaster or even all that bad....They interview the people who were actually there - especially the "old timers" - and they all seem pretty chill about the whole thing.
@@andresbernal9813 no, fail post, "burners" are the least tough character immaginable. They bailed out didn't they? This sicks let's go home, waa waa waa.
Yeah! It’s their drugs talking! They weren’t planning to leave until now anyway. So, their supplies were probably doing just fine. If something happened to everyone drugs, that’s when burning man would come unhinged!
Biden: “I know what it's like to be stranded. One time I was left standing alone at a press conference podium without even a note card telling me where to go next.”
That's every burn. We camp throughout the year in conditions similar. Hell on burn during Memorial weekend experienced heavy flooding more once and tornado one year... Here's the catch...so can every person camping anytime of year. It's called weather. Also that lake bed hadn't seen that kind of rains during that time every...rains once or twice for an hour, yes...but dries up pretty quick ..flooding from over 12 hrs of rain...off season happens every so often. But so does any place that gets rain can have that happen too.
@crystalbluebutterfly Okay.. but "mother" nature and God are NOT the same. He is our FATHER in heaven. He created creation and manipulates it as He desires. But, He is not the creation. Big difference.
Don't worry, Mommy and Daddy will probably rescue you after you have suffered a bit more discomfort in your fancy vehicles and campers fully stocked and fueled without a bat of the eye!
At Woodstock, the purpose was to socialize and hear highly talented musicians. What exactly besides some DJ's punching buttons to endless digital samplings did anyone go to this festival and choose a pristine natural area to destroy??
I went to Woodstock 69. PLEASE STOP Trying to Copy that. Never happen with people today. Woodstock 69 was one of the Best Experiences of my life. Peace, Love, ALL Come together and Enjoy the Music. AND, Help each other out if needed. RESPECTFUL. Wonderful time.
The pagans who orchestrate the media doom and gloom charade stuff are in favor of secularism. So of course they are going to downplay and lighten the mood when it comes to an actual pagan ritual/orgy. While vilifying everything else.
@@audimaster5000 Why is that insane? This world is being judged. God is trying to wake people up before it is too late. If you don't believe me then just wait and see what the next several months bring.
if only people like you actually believed God is Love as the Bible says.. But you prefer a creepy Old Testament version of God that is more like either Hitler or the Marquis da Sade. Jesus never shamed people into accepting salvation; he exemplified salvation!
I just watched this on TV this channel talkin about the burning man they can't even make up their mind how many miles long the freaking people are sitting in line for the first that it was a mile-and-a-half and then towards the end they said it's over three miles long getting onto the highway make up your mind what is it
Such a good business, you charge people to rely on their own resources, those organizers are truly top marketers to make people die for this festival, I’m a raver too but burning is not a festival I would go
Hear the other side from actual friends in BM now: "Geezuhs!! They love drama and criminalizing us burners! 😁the only real problem is all the idiots who aren't listening to instructions and insisted on trying to drive in the mud so all their vehicles are now stuck. All roads are still closed! We are partying on and helping each other out, we are giving people coffee and muffins, helping people dry out their stuff and pack up... they are burning the man tonite at nine (usually Saturday) and the temple at midnight (usually Sunday eve). It would be great if a news person was actually here to report on how amazing everyone is working together to be sure all are taken care of. It's really beautiful! Also, I learned wearing socks over shoes totally prevents mud from sticking to your shoes!! Who knew? 😁🤪🧚♀"
Stfu!!! There isn’t anything wrong with the way it’s being reported! You “burners” are just so over reactionary, and defensive about how people, who don’t care about Burning Man, talk about Burning Man!
