When I first saw this notification, I thought, I wonder if it’s a Hawaiian Air NEO. Because we are flying on one from Long Beach to OGG next month. Odd coincidence.
Why would ATC ask for expected fuel remaining on landing? Surely flight crew have their hands full and ATC can estimate that from a current fuel reading. Never seen such a specific atc request like this before
If they crash: how many trucks to roll, if they just took off they likely will be coming in overweight as well. It also lets them know if they need to hold for any reason (checklists and such) that they won't run out of fuel before they land. ATC asks fuel and souls every emergency for that reason.
