Burong Mustasa or Pickled Flat Mustard Leaves is a type of Filipino fermented appetizer wherein mustard greens are soaked in a rice water.
There are many uses for burong mustasa. Aside from being an appetizer, it can also be used as an ingredient to prepare certain dishes.

Sarap nmn po jn mam ,ang fresh ng newly harvested mong mustasa 😀👏👏My favorite to eat when i was in grade school,mom introduced to me to eat ,a healthy old woman in her mid 50's passes by on our street selling her own homemade fermented mustard leaves that makes me to remember this as a healing food❤yt leads me here when i was searching for it.thank you 😊

In India mainly north eastern parts specially Manipuri eats a lot's of mustard leaf curry cooks with fermented fish called(ngari) during winter season
