This in fact feels like a prelude to Bury the Light. Like I dunno how to explain it, but it's feeling like a dirty and tattered rag thrown into the wind, only before those feelings in your soul start to turn into frustration, anger and hate and when it does, that's when the POWER and MOTIVATION arise... I dunno how to explain it, it's just something you know if you have experienced it. like those feelings just start to empower you instead of weaken you. It's something you can't know without one or the other. Music works the same way in my opinion.

A powerful demon was about to resurect. Dante had to stop him before he would invade the human world, and spread chaos all over the globe. But this time, Vergil had in mind to take the win before his twin brother, to prove that those decades being spend enslaved by the ancient demon king Mundus, weren't made out of pure slackiness. So, Vergil plunged into the demon world, with his motivational chair, beated every demons standing on his way, asserting his plastic dominance to the ennemy. And finally, he arrived at his final destination. Vergil, turning, saw his twin brother, and his son, defeated, laying on the ground. The ennemy was too strong. However. Vergil was Vergil. He fought, again, and again, for hours, his chair assisting him in his every moves. But after 10 hours of unstoppable fight. The ennemy had the advantage. Vergil was severly damaged, for a second, he thought he couldn't make it. There weren't any hopes left for the sons of Sparda. But suddendly, the chair stood up on it's four feets. Glanced towards Vergil. "Vergil, thank you for all those motivated times. But it is time for me to go. To save you all. To save the world from the darkened villainy." Vergil, understanding what the chair had in mind, screamed his lungs, pleading the chair to not do it, but it was to no avail. The chair, jumped towards the demon king, and dealt a powerful blow, see, all this time being sat on by Vergil, all this motivated sitting, and some farts after Vergil ate beans. It gave strength to the chair. The power of a son of Sparda boiled in it's veins. The demon king screamed, desintegrating, dying. The chair, couldn't handle such a blow from itself. After the death of the demon king, Vergil ran towards the chair, only to discover it's limbs, spreaded everywhere across the room. After the sons of Sparda went back to the human world, the chair was incinerated back in redgrave city, and burried next to Vergil's mother. This song is about the deep depression Vergil went through after the death of the chair. The guilt of not being stronger that day. Not only had he lost the possibility to sit down, but also a good friend, a good listener. He cried all the nights. Thinking of how he could have prevented this, if he could even have prevented it at all ? This day, the storm was only a calm wind, flying through the leaves of a tree.

Vergil wasn't quick enough to respond to a distress call and failed to save a fellow man from cringe although after seeing that mans corpse his soul lefted from his body but found a recorded tape was found where it had the mans last words and said vergil i know you can't save me i tried calling raiden dante nero senator and all of them although im about to die i can tell that i am still motivated by you until we meet again *broken down door noises* *tape ends*

Personally, whenever I hear this, I think of a possible scene in the future where Vergil is looking over Nero's family from a distance and feeling too guilty to actually be a part of their lives.
