Reckoner Thank you so much. Truly apperciated. I am so glad that I was able to reach you out here on this big internet. Don’t hesitate to recommend songs or albums. Always looking for inspiration and to find strange and true music.
@@LeivReed It would be great to listen to your cover of "Сeltic Frost - A Dying God Coming Into Human Flesh"! I think you could handle this song very good
Thank you very much my friend.what a romantic company your music is. Nice remake. You put work on it its not just a play on acoustic guitar. Metal music is cathartic. My healing era has a lot of metal and especially black helped a lot at black times.
the first who manages to grasp the true spirit of the song, this song is a masterpiece regardless of who composed it, certainly Varg is not a nice person but he is an excellent artist. Proof of this is the extreme versatility of his songs that are not limited to the idiotic cliché of Satanism but go deeper into reflection and philosophy. And this is what his songs do, as if they were living beings other than the creator of them, it's something magnificent.
Varg actually sounds like a very nice person, no matter how normies want to crucify him for bot conforming. Whether you damn Varg or understand people have different perspectives is more of an IQ test, to he honest.
One of my favourite artist . Not just RU-vid you're one of my favourite artists in the world. I'd love to buy some merch if you have shirts or something.
Thank you. I agree with you. It’s very loose, and I think the arrangement could have profited from spending a little more time on perfecting it. Anyway. Thank you for listening.
I'm here to back who is encouraging more awesome material like this and the transilvanian hunger acoustic version. Acoustic Black Metal is the new thing. Love this. Waiting for more reworks like these one. Keep it up and compliments, dude :)
Sometimes you remind me Quorthon, but with flamenco, more classical influences. Thank you for your talent. I think that you pull out the romanticism that dwells inside black metal songs. Great, really great version, my friend!
Thank you, Dietrich! I think maybe two of the most important sources for making these version was after listening a lot to the album Admiral Fell Promises by Sun Kil Moon and studying that playing style I discovered the structure of especially Burzum and Darkthrone songs had a lot of similarity to “neo-folk” style music such as that album by SKM, but maybe also older things like American early styles of blues such as Skip James or maybe even the British, Incredible String Band (Robin Williamson) and Scottish, Alasdair Roberts. Thank you for listening and writing, Dietrich. I am very grateful that we are able to communicate thanks to common interests in music!
That’s interesting to tune to the a#, I play a lot of metal/black metal of my own in Dadgad and I can hear a lot of crossover but maybe I’ll try and leave my 5th string on a# and see how I get along. Beautiful work, keep coming back to this song
Thanks! And interesting to hear about your take on this concept. I always start tuning the guitar to the original and finding a tuning that fits the mood, and then adjust the pitch after to my voice, if needed.
For the last one I did I used a g minor tuning as a starting point, which is very close to the tuning in this song. Dadfa#d and if you lower the bottom a you have an open G minor, as you might now already.
