The AI buses do have visible drivers, and they pick up passengers and you can also ride in them. The AI cars also have visible people but they are just undetailed black figures.
From what I see this route comes closest to matching San Francisco's real life route 76 south of the Marin Headlands with parts of route 30 blended on at the dowtown portion to make this route in the game. Route 47 is one route I see matches real life though.
I noticed the radar trap didn't get you for speed on the Golden Gate bridge. When I played this route in the opposite direction the speed limit across the bridge was 40MPH but you managed to get away with 44-45 lol
Given that the game is based around the northern section of San Francisco and the parts of downtown with nothing south of Hwy 101 or much west of Park Presidio Blvd or anything from Golden Gate park and south of that, of course the bus lines with the exception of the local route line 47 are going to be fictional lol.....And I should clarify and correct myself about our fictional 601. It's more 76 south of the Marin Headlands up to Van Ness Ave and in part 30X east of that heading into downtown.
Plus it's really fictional these days given the old Transbay terminal is gone along with the bus ramps with a temporary one in place for now in prep for the new one being constructed to expand usage from bus only to a more intermodal facility for both buses and trains.
@Cameron17productions It depends on which route you are driving. The onboard computer controls the farebox so if you want to drive an express route and enter the line and route into it as usual, it recognizes it as an express route and "Express Route" is indicated in the farebox display. The prices of each ticket are listed in the game manual.
Yes, to unlock the Nova bus, you need to go to the Exhibition Centre and buy it with in-game money. Operation of the Nova is exactly the same as operation of the Neoplan (Diesel Bus), except the Nova is keyboard controls only (except lifting, gear selecting, and on board computer).
The red time displayed at the top right corner of the screen (the first one) is the time that you are scheduled to arrive at the next stop. Always depart your current stop 1-5 minutes before the red time (depending on the distance to the next stop).
@flyboyissac1 Because your PC is not powerful enough, try going on the website and downloading the screenshot of the lowest possible settings (it should be under "support"). In all my videos, I am playing the game on lowest graphical settings
@Digidi4 Yeah, that sometimes happens in this game, when the remaining passengers in your bus "forget" to make the stop request before the last bus stop, therefore they do not exit and you can not finish the route. It is a very annoying bug, you're not the only one.

Yeah, but all the bus lines in this game are still around 90% fictional. The trolleybus line is also fictional, the streetcar line is partially fictional (in real life it runs much further down south), and the cable-car lines are non-fictional.
hi Nicolas or anybody I got my copy of game today all going well but as you heard before couldn't get in front door tried many formations but back door on bus opens closes easy would you believe I can even walk through the door :) but ehats spoiling the game from running is I can't pick up passengers as f5 ain't opening door the button works on my laptop to change brightness I will be away till next Monday but would love any help so I could pick up pas singers every single other thing works
Try checking your Controls settings. Maybe you have the key for the front door set to something else. If it already is set to F5, try changing it to a different key that works.
