Wow this is an epic bus!! Amazing detail and attention to everything! Can't wait for the outside tour and I love that this truly feels like a little home. 👍😁
Wow! I can’t wait to show my husband your video. It’s the most beautiful Rv home I have seen and I have seen a lot. I have loved Rv homes for over a decade. We first bought land and did a shed cabin. That way we have a home base. And I got a big tub at habitat for humanity. It’s the same tub we had in our big suburban home. Thank goodness we sold that big home. So if your someone building a cabin tiny home or Rv home try the habitat store for a tub at a good price. This lovely couple dose deserve it they have worked very hard . That is obvious. We live in the country now. It’s nice. But we need a nice way to travel so we can visit our daughter in Florida and take our dogs. And be comfortable. You certainly have an eye for design and I love all the details and beautiful colors! I hope you are enjoying life and God bless you both! Leslye
Wow what a wonderful reply. Sorry for the late response as we are not on here too often. You guys are great and we will help as needed in figuring out the right rig for you. We can relate this bus has been all over the US....God bless!
You two have done a fabulous job on your beautiful bus! I love the lighting that goes all around the ceiling of the bus and the beach decor. I’m more of a mountain lover,, than a beach lover. But my bathroom will be a beach decor! Please travel safe!
This has to be the best review after 33K views!!!! .... of the Entire World for the Entire History of the World! We would love to meet you someday you are awesome!!!
@@aqualauge I'm trying to get out from under this house and get on the road. I'm looking for a forward entry door model because they seem to have more room to re-model to add useful counter-desk space. Your design is an inspiration for anyone who wants to convert or modify their bus/RV. Plenty if great ideas. (OMG!! you have the exact same faucet I put in my kitchen :) !)
Full size appliances, OMGoodness! In our RV Reno it has been nice to be able to upgrade items since its tiny and expense doesn't break the bank! Your tiling is gorgeous... what a brilliant idea. The luminescence is incredible and unique. And that tub, W-O-W!
This is one of the best conversations I have seen. My opinion is that most of these coach buses tend to be decorated like an RV. This looks like a home. I love the paneling and the ceiling crown molding. The tile is beautiful. For me it is to much, but that is just my taste. It is still very beautiful. I think it is a great idea for the heating and air conditioning. Great job. Have a wonder time in your new home. God bless.
If I ever hear anyone say that there are no longer any geniuses in the world I will send them over to this video and tell them to check out that water hose that goes directly into the coffee machine.
I have to say your bus is just beautiful! Well done! You can see all the love and pride that went into every detail! I actually love the rugs on the wall and ceiling! Congrats!
Thanks so much for the kind words to you all. With a project like this you can let you're imagination run wild. the rugs help keep noise down. When the AC is on full, you cant hear it...same as a conventional house.
@@aqualauge You’re very welcome. I’d love to know if you’ve done any further videos (not yet posted) on the underside of the bus, and follow-ups to what has worked/ not worked while traveling, etc. As a contractor, this is the FIRST build I’ve seen utilizing ducted HVAC rather than RV units or mini-splits. Curious what your power requirements are on that, and if you are tied to shore power as a result. Again, it’s an absolutely EXQUISITE build!! Kudos to you both!
i’ve been waiting a long time to say this... you, my dear friends, have crafted the perfect bud conversion. congratulations and thank you for the tour. i’ll be borrowing heavily from your ideas. :)
Your home is beautiful! I could definitely live In this bus. We are trying to decide what we are going to do. What to buy. Van bus or class A or C. It’s just a very hard decision. We want room and to be comfortable. But then a van where we could stealth camp sounds smart. We want something by spring time so hopefully the perfect home will come along. Thank you for sharing your home. It’s so very nice! Leslye
Can tell you guys took your time decorating.ceiling in bedroom is wonderful.love the ceiling in walkway and most of the bus.speechless and your really creative.
This is by far the nicest bus conversion I have ever seen! It’s nicer than many houses! The jacuzzi in the bedroom, oh my goodness! It’s absolutely gorgeous! The kitchen and bathroom with the separate shower, clean and immaculate! Hats off to you guys for a job well done! With a layout like that, I’d definitely live in that bus!
You really can. The sky is the limit if you choose the right shell for your budget and do a lot of pre-planning, particularly concerning plumbing, electrical and bay. You will have as much work there as you will on the interior.
Best bus tour I have ever seen. I guess some of the van lifers with infants and animals can watch your video and think about upgrading their vans with temperature control equipment. The children can be taken almost anywhere, not so much so for the cats and dogs therefore, they should be comfortable when left in the vehicle. My opinion, I could be wrong.
I feel bad that I said so many nice things about the side isle, I know many dis-likers have a center isle but the truth is there are a hundred floor plans for a reason. Its all about what works best for you and your situation. There is no right answer. For us this was the best option.
Absolutely beautiful coach great attention to detail love your decor the woodwork has that old world feel very cozy and the bathroom very nice I'm building my MCI MC9 right now it's not just planning its attention to the detail that really makes the difference I'm on my second coach my first had a lot of the factors yours does the current coach is still in the early stages and nothing is in stone when building one plans change all the time I love the tile work how did you get the mother of peril to stay on the curves of the ceiling that's what really sets the coach a part from most. Well done you two, well done.
Thanks so much for the kind words. Yes, planing, planning, planning makes for a nice coach and a creative mind. Spurge where it counts and will be noticed. I bet I had 50 different floor plans settling on this one.
@@aqualauge which bus forum's have you joined I'd love to chat somemore if you don't mind I belong to a few of the Facebook ones general one is bus conversion and one is an MCI group but your an eagle so that wouldn't work for you but theirs so many out there. Anyway again beautiful work well done.
@@aqualauge You might be having an affect, Jayco/Entegra sells a class C with a new interior called "modern farmhouse" that is similar to what you two made.
@@aqualauge best bus I have ever seen... wish there was way to have exterior door by bathroom and have small bedroom on end with driver.... maybe hidden door from small bedroom to driver compartment.. absolutely love this bus though
Do you have to take everything off your shelves when moving or do you have another way of securing items to the shelf? By the way......best looking bus conversion I’ve ever seen. Absolutely stunning. One of the things that makes a home is the chichis. So I was just curious if you had to remove everything each time you travel? Or do you plan to travel?
Hi Kathy, Thanks so much for the kind words! We have a check list before travel and do remove some decorative items and put them in a tub for travel. Most of the kitchen items stay as well as the coffee maker. All of the refrigerator items stay put and bedroom items stay the same. Some items like the mermaids are fastened down. An Eagle bus, particularly a 45' like this one was known to have the best ride in the industry until some late Prevost models came along. To give you an idea, if you did not have to slam on your brake, place a can of paint on the floor, drive from NY to LA and the can will still be standing.
Ellies got a beautiful home no wonder her smiles so big and nice ty Jesus .Do u have plans how u built your bus its really nice. Just a smart utilization of space .
Thanks for the kind words! I will post some of the bay videos when I have time. 150 gal black, 100 gal grey, 200 fresh. The black and gray can crossover at the top of the tanks if one is full and the other is not. Power is a 21KW Powertech with a new head and a bank of 8 golf cart batteries. The ac is in the basement so a clean roof to do a 8'x40' nascar deck. At that time I may install solar but not really needed as the gen powers up the batteries pretty quick. I use a Magnum Energy 2000 watt inverter that runs the entire bus (other than 220v) including refrigerator and microwave. Tankless hot water heater, HVAC and the oven all run on 50 amp shore or gen power.
Not sure if my last reply went through but the tanks are 200 Fresh, 100 grey and 150 black. 21KW gen and 2000 Watt Maxum Inverter/Charger running off of 8 golf cart batteries. The entire bus including the refrigerator and microwave runs on the inverter except for the hot water heater, HVAC washer/drier and Stove are 220V (gen or shore power)
I watched all your videos, very interested in seeing your mechanicals and how they work and see the outside. Great video. Also interested if you know your total cost and are willing to share that?
The HVAC is a 2.5 ton Goodman package unit. I cut the metal skids off of the bottom for extra clearance and put about 30 self-adhesive 1.25" felt pads on the bottom of the bus bay for help with vibrations and slid it in. This is a 220V home unit where the condenser and all are built into the same unit and centrally ducted just like a home. I would rate it 5 stars on performance.
Additionally, you will have to fabricate a diverter shroud that takes the hot air blowing upwards and route it through the bay floor. All in all not hard, just time consuming.
Does this bus move?..or is it a stationary bus conversion?...I am just thinking of all those beautiful items slipping and sliding around as the bus goes bump up and down...
sorry for the late reply, not on here much. The cabinets came from Custom Service Hardware. These came fully assembled. We had also used them for our home which was a DIY assemble yourself and came out great!
