Yes, I have a DFGT wheel and it works great with this game. You can configure the steering threshold by pressing F11. As for the tachograph, press Numpad Period/Numpad Delete. Then click on Slot 1 and hold the mouse button, then drag the mouse down to slide in the card.

Thanks! I don't speak German either though, I mainly relied on Google Translator to translate the controls settings and on-screen tutorial, and I also screwed around with keyboard controls and I eventually just taught myself how to play it.

Bus stop brake can be activated with the Delete key. It will deactivate automatically when you start driving but only if the doors are closed.

The ASR (Anti-Slip Regulation) keeps the bus from over-accelerating, preventing you from losing control when accelerating on a slippery road. The retarder is a hydraulic transmission brake that slows down the bus from a high speed (to help prevent the disc brakes from wearing out).

Press the buttons on the change machine, each button dispenses a different amount of money. If the passenger requires a lot of change (5, 10, 20 euro) open the drawer below the change machine buttons to give the passenger either a 5, 10, or 20 bill.

Simply plug it in, and press F11 (while sitting in the bus) to configure it.

You can lower down the settings or upgrade your computer to make it run faster. The left and right blinkers are toggled with Comma and Period. The High version has better graphics and a more detailed game world than the Basic version. The headlights and passenger cabin lights can be turned off with the key beside the key to turn it on (or right click the switch). To switch to reverse, hold down the brake and press Page Down. To view the person, use the mouse wheel. To open the map, press Tab.

Bus sims seem to get better and better :P i find this one A LOT better than OSMI more optimized and i have a lot more fun with it. (bus simulator 2013 is going to be epic)

I think that you should press the "n" key or the "m" key, I'm not sure wich one opens the second door ! Happy driveing!

Press Numpad 1 to open the front door, Numpad 2 to open the 2nd door, and Numpad 3 to open the 3rd door (3rd door is only on the articulated bus)

@SBS1975G You can configure the steering wheel buttons and stuff in Einstellungen>Steuerung>Fahrzeug>Lenkrad/Gamepad. To change the steering threshold of the wheel, press F11 when you are sitting in the bus

Make sure you released the parking brake by holding Backspace and pressing Insert

Yes, you can toggle how many passengers buy tickets in the game settings

You can toggle the size of the deadzone by pressing F8 with the G25 enabled.

hi there, great tutorial, but do you know what to do when passengers board the bus, but just stand there, don't offer any money, and don't go and sit down, blocking other passengers from getting in, this happens at the rear door also. thanks for any info.

Decrease the Resolution, Terrain Details and Anisotropic Filtering, uncheck Motion Blur, Glow Effects, and Depth of Field, check Rim Light, and set Shadow Details, Visibility, and Mirror to Low/Off.

Not all the pedestrians need to take the bus anywhere. Just wait at the bus stop until you are no longer early, if you don't get passengers then you don't get passengers

Try turning all the graphics settings to low. I've found there's a bit of lag when leaving the bus depot too, but it gets better when you're out past the gate house :)

ye bcs this one is like new released like a month or two ago and they havent finished english version, but its possible to get english patch so u can get the english version.

It depends on the time of day you have the game set on. And the game gets dark even in the day when you turn off the shadows

Just set it up like it is meant to be set up, and then set up all the control assignments in the Settings. It should be functional after that.

This is not the Gelenkbus (articulated bus), this is the regular bus

Hi, to get the game in english, buy 'European Bus Simulator 2012' it is this game in english! hope i helped!

I respect TML Studios so I would recommend just buying this game legitimately. Buying their games instead of torrenting them can help them create more games, and if everyone torrented games then the game company would go bankrupt and not make anymore games, so I do not encourage torrenting.

Great tutorial thanks. I have an English version that I have a problem with. When ever I stop then try to leave again it states at the bottom Automatic drive-off lock is activated. Any ideas what the problem is? I just can't work it out.

I don't know then. If they never get on at any bus stop, you have some issue that I don't know of. And you can lower down the Graphic settings to reduce lag, but it's too much to explain

I don't work for TML Studios so I do not know about that. I never got a problem where a passenger does not collect the change. And the blinkers are operated with the Comma and Period keys.

@SBS1975G You can toggle the mirrors on and off in the Graphics Settings, but they are pretty useless. Unlike in OMSI, they are really blurry and you can barely see anything in them, and they are crazy framerate killers too. So I just keep them off, and use the old-school mirror cameras instead. (Left Shift and Right Shift)

@SBS1975G To change to the exterior camera, use the mouse wheel to zoom out of the driver's area. As for the Fraps problem, I do not know about that, since I can record this game with Fraps perfectly fine. Try maybe experimenting around with the Fraps settings.

You can change the walking controls in the settings

People are moving otuside the bus and when I open the doors they move but don't get it and wen I close the door they stand still! Can u help woth that! I open both doors aswell

yeah omsi and the graphics are better but this is more realistic like you have different things to press , but this takes longer to operate

They are too difficult to drive on the tight streets. There actually ARE some places in the game where it is impossible (and I actually mean impossible, I have tried and I could not find a way to make it possible) to manoeuvre the bus through without clipping the curb at least a little bit. And that is just with the normal bus.

and when it requests me "whether the bus is too cold or to warm" I just do turn on the conditioned air, on cabin, front bus side, everything, all what you did there, ohh yeah I wanted to ask you what I am Missing to my passengers getting-into, I've just traveled to the starting bus stop, and nobody of them get-into, just stand and stay there closer to the forward and rear door, like waiting for something (I obviously got to do something)

They will eventually. If no passengers get on then just start driving

It appears to be a rare bug, as far as I know there is no way to fix it once it happens until you restart the game but it is rare

curiously I got same issue than you got there!! I can't get my passengers into by their be half, they just stand there and stand like they was waiting for something, but the question is: what are they do waiting for? :S

You have to unlock it from the exhibition hall there, for a price.

That is an extremely embarrassing question to reply to but it's the two keys to the right of the M key.

I don't know what to do where the passengers are just standing right there outside the bus offering not money or going to have a sit or nothing, I just did what you did there, but nothing seems to change, I'VE RESTARTED MY PC AFTERWARDS LOTS OF TIMES, and If I keep doing it, I will crash and damage my own, what do I do? I just signed up the driver crad, I get it into the tachograph, do the starting engine stuffs, starting the On Board system.

As I said I don't work for TML Studios, so how would I know that? Just go to their support centre and ask them for help

When you end a route, and you go out of the game, and after you enter it again, the route of before is saved or you start of zero?

I don't know, sorry. Maybe you do not have them properly plugged in? That's all I can think of.

why in most of ur vids u don't drive articulated buses,and is it possible to use the arrow keys to walk instead.

I can not run the bus ... clicking on the button that you can run forward. When you squeeze the arrow forward, it just gives gas.i can not drive.
